Ya in house I was really grumpy about it but when we eventually got back to the house and watched the PVR it made more sense. I'm just so used to our OL imposing their will on the final drive to kill the clock, and was really chapped when we couldn't but the Lions really loaded up to take it away, and physically there's only so much you can do.

I was really disappointed in the OL after the 1st Q but hopefully they can play 4 quarters of Bully Ball vs Montreal.

Guess his parents are going to be in Ham for the game. Was hoping to see a limber and able walking Biggie but no sign of him... Ha ha.

And now, being retired, I am happy to welcome him home again and into the RoH as soon as possible.

He has said many many many times this year that it is. From the start of the season it was announced its his final season as he's going to manage and coach the junior team in Nanaimo that he used to play for. And then Kristina Costible asked him again this week just to confirm and he said, yet again, that he's done. And then he posted on his social media a picture of hanging up his cleats. He is very much done.

Glad I'm not the only one. I was really sour about it. And then the run game getting shut down... I was chapped the OL wasn't doing more. As Booch mentioned in another thread, they had so little creativity offensively... No jet sweeps, almost no play action. I get they were trying to take manage and just not turn it over, but jeeze that was frustrating to watch. Thank goodness that D was incredible.

I was smart about booking Saturday off (always have Sundays off ) so it's gonna be a great weekend.

And then Farhan defended it on Twitter when people were calling Abbott out....they're really two of a kind. TV definitely didn't do it justice. It was raucous in the barn.

17to85 have been talking **** for awhile now about "can you even imagine our D getting to play Faj in a GC game?? Willie is gonna be walking around with a full rager just thinking about it..." But man, I hope that's not inviting bad karma....

We were saying yesterday afternoon that GC Week celebrations would begin at approximately 8:30pm last night and they sure did. We always walk back to Stone Angel after the games for post game pints and to break down the game. Then back to the house to watch the PVR of the game. It was a LATE night last night and slow going today but the celebration will continue through the week. Can't wait to watch the 80s Cup games and then 19 and 21 over th course of the week. I'm going to enjoy every second of this.

Crown Royal (Gimli) and my in-laws home brew for whiskey. We'll have several Manitoba made beers for options, some available for purchase in AB but some that will mysteriously make their way from MB to AB tomorrow....

I am so superstitious.... And I love that our OL/DL guys police the situation and make sure NOBODY touches the trophy that doesn't matter..

It was a LOT of fun watching this game in the tailgate area with so many screaming Bombers fans just LOVING the Argos looking like assholes. Good to meet up with Gordo for a beer... A great time in the pre game for sure!

I'm looking forward to contributing to this thread as the week goes on. My wife lives for hosting parties and is a first class chef. We will undoubtedly have a massive spread on next weekend.

Cody Fajardo is and has always been awful. If they beat us it will be nothing to do with him. Toronto won't have a season next year like they did this year. Yesterday's game broke the glass and they now have been found out.

Booch and Mike were absolutely right and most of us have agreed. The roster, when healthy, is very good. But it's one or two injuries from being awful because we are leaving better players on the PR in order to roster some players (Jackson) that don't really make sense. But make no mistake.... Even at it's worst right now, it's a damn good team/roster.
