again, as has been mentioned ad nauseum, the new info is that both Walters and Steinauer (no H, folks... put some respect on an all time CFL great) have family obligations that are requiring a change in both their work lives. I trust JBR.

None of the guys practicing need the reps. I don't know who will or won't be out there Saturday, but I have full confidence in any vet to play at a high level without taking physical reps during the week. In fairness you thought the whole team was doomed from the start of existence....

I see the forecast changed a little for Saturday. A daytime high of -3 now with a sun and cloud mix. By game time she'll be a wee bit chilly. Especially as the sun sets. Bundle up fellas... Will be a fun one. Last I heard we were about 1500 from a sellout....

I personally think this is just the greatest thing... His dog rescuing.... But it's interesting, I have some indigenous friends from the Grand Rapids area who are vehemently opposed to it. Believe the dogs are best left in their natural state, as wolves, hunting outdoors. That these so called rescue efforts are more akin to stealing or kidnapping. I've never looked at it that way, but it's an opinion that's out there apparently.

Yeah, the offseason is SO LONG, I can't imagine missing a game when the season comes around. And that's ALL games, not just Bombes. NFL sucks, the NHL is just too big of a league to follow, with way too many games.... curling gets me through the offseason, but once April rolls around, I'm so ready for CFL news to come back around. I PVR every Bomber game during the season, keep the wins, and rewatch those throughout the offseason to get me through. Thank goodness for technology...

World Curling Tour is serious business. Most of the international teams are paid by their government to do it full time. Canadians are MOSTLY full timers but some have part time jobs like realtors or personal trainers. But ya it's a REALLY big deal.

We have the pieces... We have the coaches to design the right plays..... No excuses.

I am so hopelessly addicted to CFL football, it's probably a diagnosable condition. I rarely, if ever, miss any CFL game. I love the small boutique-ness of the league where you know virtually every player on every team. I really love the pro curling circuit a lot, but there is nothing that I get fired up for like the CFL.

Especially if we've been practicing in **** all week and they've been in the dome..
