100% how I feel. Frenchie is by far my favourite official, but Kroeker isn't bad.

this is great news, and there's nobody happier about it than me (when and if it all comes to pass) but it does make me really curious what JBR was told, and by whom, that made it sound like Walters was exhausted by the work involved and needed to move back to southern Ontario for his family. The quote "who would want to leave this franchise willingly??" seems to go directly in the face of the previous information. And if the so-called "Coaches Cap" isn't going up, as was confirmed yesterday, then there's no extra payday coming for Walters....... it's curious for sure. But, as I said, there's nobody happier than me about The Trinity not breaking up (tentatively...)- The Marvel Thread
this feels more in the vein of Venom..... Not particularly great, but trying to piggyback MCU (not as smart as it used to be)- Grey Cup - Game Week Thread
they showed that they can steal a game if a team isn't careful..... that, combined with the Bombers losing in a similar fashion last GC, means the Bombers aren't going to be taking Montreal lightly in this game. I know I know... Any Given Sunday and all that...... but this really shouldn't be close. Zach doesn't have to win it, just can't lose the game for us.... and the D will do the rest. This game really shouldn't be close.- Grey Cup - Game Week Thread
re: the comparison of this year's Als to the 2011 Bombers.... I'd had that thought, as well, but the difference is the Bombers in 2011 backed into the playoffs after a great start to the year, and then shitting their pants in the back half. The Als actually got better as the season went on, and (at least defensively) are playing their best football when it matters. Their O still sucks, though, because The Fajtastic Voyage is among the worst "starting" QBs we've seen in many many years. If the Als had an actual starting QB (even someone like Trevor Harris) they would be a really good team and this game is immediately more of a toss-up.- Grey Cup - Game Week Thread

It is very easy to see how this team could have been even better than it is. I don't love the constant complaining about it, but it is also impossible not to see what Booch and wbbfan are talking about.- GDT: Game 15 vs New Jersey

This hurts me just as much...... As for current "gamer" jersey.... I had been going with a late 80s Walby for a long time, but it got autographed last year and so now it is retired to the wall. Among the many MANY things you never ever do to a jersey is wear an autographed one. So up it goes. Now I had a problem.... I own a LOT of Bombers jerseys, but what would not be bad luck? I decided to go with a relatively recent eBay purchase.... a 2011/2012-ish home blue #4-Pierce pro-stitch. Only member of the current team whose jersey I own. I need something more current, but the Coach Buck uni has done pretty well since I adopted it after last year's Banjo Bowl. At the Bombers Store yesterday, I was going through the new ones and trying to decide who to get next.... pretty torn between Zach, Brady and Demmer...- Grey Cup - Game Week Thread

this is @17to85 - sincerely concerned after we watched the GC together last year. We have watched many GCs together... only 2019 did we win, and that was in person and we actually weren't sitting together at that game. - Blue Bombers - 2023 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
