Happy for Edmonton fans and happy for Ford.... What a ridiculous record.

Edmonton's short yardage unit is the shits. Couple of times now they've been in like 2nd and 3 or 4 and get absolutely nothing. Brutal.

I'm no longer going with LOLks... With Tre Ford in, they have a chance and are earning more respect. This team just might make playoffs... Unthinkable a few weeks ago.

Ford is legit... I stand by that. I'm not saying he's Doug Flutie but I think he can be a legit starting QB in this league...... In time.

Some background: when the building first opened capacity was listed at 33,500. Sellouts last year when the club led the CFL in attendance for the first time in franchise history were listed at 33,234. The new capacity is 32,343 with the further expansion of the party decks and the removal of flex seating to improve the fan experience. Thursday’s crowd was the first sellout of the season and the third attendance total to eclipse the 30,000 mark. The next two home dates include the Banjo Bowl vs. the Saskatchewan Roughriders on September 9th – that game is already sold out – plus a visit from the Toronto Argonauts and the return of Andrew Harris on September 29th. Thank you!! I actually went as far as to mute the word Rourke on Twitter because I was so sick of hearing about him. The whole Kid Canada thing drives me nuts. He's played hardly any football in Canada and virtually all of his training is in the US. The only way this amount of drooling would be worthy is if the player was born here, raised here, and played all their ball here...graduated CIS.....THEN became a star. That would be something to talk about. Other than his birth certificate, there is almost nothing separating Nathan Rourke from any other NCAA football player.... Tre Ford ...an actual CIS QB that played all his football here.... Should be getting hype as a starting QB in pro football. **** the Rourke's.

so my theory on this (because this ******* commercial drives me crazy) is that some American consultant went "You know what's popular? Letterkenny! We're going to make our own quasi-Letterkenny commercial!" but completely missed the mark, and had no idea what he or she was doing in the first place. Just an awful idea all the way around, and I can't believe it passed by as many people as it would have, and nobody said "wait a second....." before letting it air.

Came home from work and PVR effed up, but was able to watch the highlights online and LMAO! TiCats, arguably the worst team in the league, absolutely take it to the Lions. Incredible. VAJ is exactly who we always knew he was.... As JBR said, in the Fajardo tier. Two wildly overrated QBs forever. And as Matty Geebs said, YIKES to us getting throttled by them earlier in the year. Ouch.

Yeah, I just worry about Jeffcoat. You see how incredible he can be when he's healthy.... don't wanna risk running him dry too soon. Get some good rotation going on and keep everyone fresh....then we're set.

I'd like to get Haba, Fox and Hansen into the DL rotation just to keep people fresher. That would go a long way. Grant in for MacRae. If Jackson was Canadian, I wouldn't have so much of a problem with his roster spot, but if Mike Miller ever gets 100% again, he should be in for Jackson. All these changes would make our roster really really good...

I'm worried if he's got PTSD about the pocket collapsing. Until this year, he's had so much time to work back there, but this year, the protection just hasn't been the same...and when it breaks down, I wonder if Collaros starts freaking out a bit due to previous situations on other teams. Just spitballing...

I don't want to take anything away from the defense, but just wanted to point out that Cody Fajardo is a truly awful QB and has been wildly overrated by the entire league after a weird anomaly of a 2019 season that may or may not have even been his doing. The number of wounded-duck balls with almost no spiral on it last night.... it was truly incredible. That team really is better off with Caleb Evans at QB. As for Olly MOP.... he's definitely the front runner for MOC (friggin' Suitor going on and on about Demski as MOC and then throws in a casual mention that "20 is in there too" at the end.....oi) and would have to be considered at least a CANDIDATE for MOP. Only half way through the season, so we'll see if he can keep it up... The bit of football Collaros played in Edmonton + the first half of last night..... concerning. He's looked like his usual dominant self at times this year, but then at times he's looked like someone else altogether. It's a little bit concerning....

see my first question is why they changed it.... because obviously there was a reason.

Interesting note from Osh in the pre-game show about the kick cover unit... this year they've implemented a new "system" for kick covers after using the same one for the past 6 or 7 years, and it's taking longer than they'd like for the players to "click" with the new system...
