It's hard to be a ref... At any level. And because people are so critical about it, it prevents people from wanting to sign up and do the job in the first place. The less people that want to try, the worse it's going to be. We need way more people starting to ref at a grassroots level and work their way up to the pro level. The constant REFS YOU SUCK attitudes don't help matters at all. You really want to fix reffing? Sign up and learn how. Be the change you want to see, and all that...
