I've used this exact phrase many many many times on this board...... there's not enough people on here who accept this of themselves. Bombers aren't a consistently good team from week to week. I never know what to expect from them. They Molly whop the supposed best D in the league and then make the LOLks look like world beaters a week later. So if you told me that the Riders took at least one of the back to back, I wouldn't be shocked in the least.

The riders are EXACTLY who we all thought they were going to be under CD when he was named HC because nobody else would take the job and Jones left them hanging late in the offseason. The first season under CD was a total fluke... This is exactly who we knew they would be.

chuckled last night listening to the Riders game on the radio, and they brought up that particular play from the Bombers LOLks game and were incredulous as to how the Bombers didn't get called offside when "the Bombers player was a good 2 yards ahead of the play!!1"

re: Worst Coach... the difference between Craigy **** and Kelly is Dickie has a bit of humility. Kelly had zero. Kelly was more like Jones in that he believes he's the smartest guy in every room and nobody can tell him anything. As Dave said, Kelly wore too many hats (as Jones is now) and if he just stuck to one thing, it might not have been that bad. Same as Jones, where, if he was JUST a DC.... he might still have some value.

I had to drive while the game was on and I had the immense pleasure of listening to the Riders broadcast of the game. Just letting everyone know I am alright.... Ha ha. At 22 down, I was cold and soaked from the rain, and was considering heading out and getting to my hotel an hour east of town. Coorsman talked me into staying and, in the end, I'm glad I did. To be able to see that Lawler catch in person is something special...
