  1. Completely without irony, they actually put a toilet seat on the top of their stadium........ incredible.
  2. this is a near-daily listen for me.....
  3. I swear, I had that exact thought for the first time about 20 minutes ago....... the greatest pain is usually made up for by the greatest joy. And I can think of nothing better than the championship at home.
  4. I don't expect Canada to win a single game, and if they can keep it under 5 against per game, that's a moral victory....
  5. Allowing Chad ******* Kelly to run down the field untouched on a "second and forever" leading to the go ahead TD will never leave my brain. Sickened to my very core. Just typing this makes me want to cry.
  6. shared this in another thread.... didn't realize this existed. Can't thank you enough for writing it. I suffer with depression, anxiety (and possibly some other stuff that they're not 100% sure about) and am having a really hard time with this loss. Like "death in the family" kinda grief. Most people think it's insane (it is, to a degree) but it's also really normal. "You're not alone" and "it's okay to not be okay" are really important right now.
  7. wanted to take a moment to thank @Zach Schnitzerfor writing this piece. I, too, suffer from various mental illness, including depression and anxiety..... and "You're not alone" is a key phrase for people like us. I care more about this team, and (especially living in AB) my identity is so entangled with the team, that this championship loss has caused me a lot of grief. Like a death in the family kind of grief. But, as Zach says here: It's normal and we're not alone.
  8. You'd rather have him than a healthy Kyrie Wilson??
  9. “We’ll take some time to evaluate, but I’d love to be back here,” said Demski, who posted career-best numbers with 64 receptions for 772 yards and 10 TDs in just 13 games. “I’ll take some time to evaluate everything and see where it goes. “There’s a huge list of why I’d want to come back. At the end of the day, you just never know in this league; the CFL, it’s a nine-team league, everybody talks so I’ll sit back and evaluate and see what happens.”
  10. he's arguably the best receiver in the game.... every team needs him.
  11. that's definitely possible, but he's loyal as ****.... I'd be curious what the exit interview with Buck is like.
  12. saying we don't need Lawler back is asinine. Also, I would be SHOCKED if Sheed wasn't back next year.
  13. at some point, Cam Lawson will take Jake's spot....
  14. ooof....
  15. I'm already sick and tired of hearing about the Argos winning and the Bombers losing. I am in dire need of some good news. Let's get some coaching/management/player contract signing news going.......
  16. Well, that's a good fit, because I don't think Saskatchewan is above last on players lists of places to play..
  17. some interesting stuff here about an American TV deal incoming.......
  18. always remember.... 58, 59, 61, 62.....
  19. there's a quote from Liegghio himself saying he striped it and it was "going to go in" but a hand got through...... but who really knows. It shouldn't have come to that.
  20. He was better than good at all 3 roles this year and is super young. He's only going to keep getting better. If the Teams don't allow that last kick to be blocked, maybe we're celebrating a win today....?
  21. Sounds like MBT a dually wants to retire according to reports. Got his ring and wants to just be a dad and husband now.
  22. you guys talk like converts are still 7 yards out. It's not as simple as it used to be, and it's not like he's the only one missing the odd one here and there. It's really insane to be this hung up on Liegghio. He was not the problem.
  23. always the voice of sober second thought........thank you Bob (always...)
