our defense LOVES playing Faj, so I'm more than good with this.

I'm better than I used to be, but that was an extremely low bar. I'm not sure if it's the pandemic that changed me, or getting married, or just old age..... but I don't get as completely "ruined" as I used to. There were times I was inconsolable for most of a week following a loss.

legitimately curious what this organization looks like after 2025... so much build up for that, but who knows what will happen after.

gas prices are the number one inflation issue in my life, so I'm glad AB is eating the tax right now, though I fully understand that the money is (in theory) needed for infrastructure and what not. More than groceries, more than anything else... gas prices are just killing my monthly budget. I think it's also easier for the AB government to eat that, than the MB gov't, which doesn't have as many other resources to make up the lost earnings.

I still believe Miller knew this was coming and that's why no Walters contract yet.

I did pick Edmonton to win... And **** I thought I took Montreal but you're right it has to be that. Good call. Damnation.

I was really hoping Redhawk Randy was going to turn out (and maybe he still will yet) but, to my eyes at least, it seems like he's out of position a lot and getting burned on coverage....

I was gonna wait until I know for sure who's going to start at QB this week, but I think Lawler's itching to have a bust out game after last week's "offensive" output by the offense...

It was two times! I don't think we've seen it before that and until we see it again going forward (don't think we will when ZC is back) it's a lot of rage over nothing. Prukop is great at short yardage and for whatever reason they didn't trust Pigrome as much as they trust a proven veteran, so this is what we have. It's really not a big deal.

Has Prukop actually been bad at short yardage? Or are people just mad at the two first down plays from Friday?

Don't get me wrong, I like our group better, but Edmonton has some guys for sure...

For Edmonton, specifically, they bought an entire receiving corps that, objectively, is very good... And have just been missing a QB to get them the ball. Dru Brown could fix them in a hurry... And Tre Ford might already be doing it.

Fitting that it's an ugly win in an ugly mud puddle of a stadium...

It's really funny how this past week we've been wringing our hands about how good Dru Brown is and how we can't afford to keep him after this year and he's gonna be a star someplace else...yada yada. Now there's talk about him being terrible and we should have kept Pigrome.... Oi.
