  1. I'm pretty far removed from it all (aside from what I can gather on Twitter) but a few people on my FB have been pushing for that Rick Shone (??) but last I saw in polling numbers, he's an after-thought...
  2. Further to this, McManis out 4 weeks...
  3. Just a FWIW....LOLks injury report for today: Emmanuel Arceneaux WR Ankle Limited Mike Beaudry QB Healthy Scratch Full Jake Ceresna DL Ankle Limited Ed Gainey DB Ankle DNP Deon Lacey LB Healthy Scratch Full Kenny Lawler WR Shoulder DNP Kai Locksley WR Shoulder Full Cole Nelson OL Illness DNP Jordan Reaves LB Healthy Scratch Full Malik Tyne DL Healthy Scratch Full
  4. Jeeze, just reading that, that looks a LOT better.....
  5. Yeah, you know if little else, Darby will be a veteran on the side of the field that really needs one. One rookie over there is enough, but 2 was problematic. He can be a big help to whichever of Holm/Parker starts the other spot.
  6. oh man, I saw your comment on the sidebar, without the Tweet for context, and I panicked........
  7. big loss for a vaunted D.... curious about McManis, who went down last week as well....
  8. he had 2... was not necessarily a guy to show up in the big game. As has been told many times, he enjoyed Grey Cup Week a lot....
  9. also, of note, Darby expected tomorrow:
  10. Agudosi seems like more of a nice bonus, than an important piece. Like, Woogie and Ellingson would be the Top 2 pieces to get back, but Agudosi could be a rotational piece that would be a nice extra option.
  11. takes a queen to know a queen...
  12. there are certain guys who don't need to practice. Getting "visual/virtual reps" is fine.....
  13. So, I've gotta say...... I think I follow this league as closely as anyone, but I have no ******* clue who Desmond Walker is and why everyone is excited that he might be coming to Winnipeg.............?
  14. Lose by a lot...make a statement. Vote for progressives, not regressives.
  15. it's hard to do, but Tim Allen is an example of where I need to separate his entertainment work from his personal politics. I have read some quotes from him that absolutely disgusted me, and I don't think much of him as a member of the general society. But.... I loved Home Improvement when I was a kid, have enjoyed some of his stand up in the past, the Toy Story movies are of course fantastic, and the Santa Clause movies are an important tradition in our house. So I really have to work hard to disassociate the person from the product...
  16. Booch was talking about 2001, I believe.... 07 was really where Charlie let the team down.
  17. one of the best to ever do it. We're down to Dolly and Willie, from The Greatest Generation. Dolly seems to be doing just fine (she's a bit younger) but Willie's been living on borrowed time for awhile. He's in "any day now..." territory...
  18. across Canada, we need to make an example of these candidates and vote them down HARD, one by one.....
  19. Further: Ai yi yi....
