Yes... I can't remember the names off hand but there's at least two really intriguing MACK prospects...

I absolutely said something along the lines of "If you're blaming Liegghio for the GC loss you are a moron or you didn't watch the game"..... that is 100% something I'd say, and I stand by it. This "he's clearly over his head" is such a crock of bullshit from dummies who really don't understand what they're looking at, or choose to ignore ACTUAL facts, like the fact that Casey Sayles whiffed badly on a block, which caused the last kick to be partially blocked. But there's a lot of dummies who just see "missed kick" and scream about the 95% CIS Career kicker.....or see a missed PAT and scream..... it's just such a "I don't really know what I'm watching, but this is what it seems like to me" thing......

Thankfully you have arguably the best politician in Canada in Rachel Notley to vote for! This election should be an absolute DOMINATION for the NDP when you consider who Smith is and who Notley is, but the population is so completely insane with their "Never NDP - Only Con!!" mindset that it's a saw-off, at best, and trending toward a UCP Majority. It's like everyone is on crazy pills...it makes so little sense.

I don't wanna say it, cause I don't like being That Guy, but I'm wondering if Rose isn't a guy that's a bit of a "surprise" cut this year, getting beat out by someone younger.... I know he played hurt last year but watching a lot of highlight packs lately and jeeze he got picked on a lot last year.

He's plenty strong... Massive leg on him.... But placement is the key. He was good last year but maybe by only doing one job he can be GREAT this year. Lots of drops inside the 5.

So I've been thinking on it. I think I have trauma from the Larry Arugala situation, and tossing potentially great CFL-via-CIS kickers to the trash heap too soon. At the end of the day, if you're able to just go buy a veteran PK whenever you need one, then may be no need to stress about developing one that you carry for a whole career like Bob Cameron or Westwood or Kennerd or whoever. It may also be a valid point that Legs could just be a punter like Maver and carve out a good career that way. All in all, trust The Trinity.

the only thing I'd say against bringing Castillo in is, how does Leggs ever grow if you don't let him try....... now you could say that last year he had his chance and wasn't good enough, but......it's one year. Still, I could get behind Legs doing KO/Punt, and Castillo FG/PATs.... if that's what The Trinity deem appropriate.

interesting......though I really didn't think Castillo was all that good last year. It's purely anecdotal, but I seem to recall him missing plenty of FGs/PATs.....
