that was a really interesting piece, and totally unsurprising, of course. The Christians are angry about perceived "pornography" and introducing kids to things they'd rather them not see. Well, what about Christian literature available in the library? There are many who would rather their children not see that kind of perceived propaganda, so let's protest and have that stuff removed. I really feel for the librarians just trying to do their jobs.

There's a game used Buck jersey that just went for 100 bucks on eBay. Was a little more than I wanted to spend so I got outbid, but I might get a different one. My big thing this season is what jersey to wear on game days. I had a Walby that has been lucky since 2019, but I got it autographed, so it's now retired to the wall (one of the all time biggest jersey fails is wearing an autographed jersey... Don't do this, kids...) and now I need to decide what isy new gale day jersey. Thinking about a Coach Buck navy blue from the era with those quasi-Chargers jerseys (with the terrible shoulders) that's on my wall right now. Might see how that treats us for Day 1..... But we'll see what comes up for sale between now and then.

You aren't going to get a great return on any players because the Jets aren't dealing from a position of strength. MAYBE Helle gets you something but when every team knows you have problems, they're gonna bend you over a barrel... Be prepared for underwhelming returns or guys just walking into UFA....

I think long term it's a good thing for the CFL because more kids will now take up football at a grassroots level, with NFL aspirations and if that's not an option, they'll always have us. The more kids in football the better.
