Yeah that article didn't leave me hopeful for a return anytime soon, but who knows...

Connected to Big Whiteshell Lake in the Whiteshell.... Christ...those bolos don't exactly float either......very interesting twist. But pretty much everything in life is better when a dock is involved.

2022 CFL Season - Non Back 2 Back Champs News

**** sakes....feel terrible for the guy. I mean, **** the Argos, but man I feel bad for Harris. If this is the end of the road, here's to a 1-day contract signing (with Matty Ice, please...) and well deserved retirement in Blue and Gold. -
Wife and I were super into beer pong for awhile, then it was ladder golf, and now the bean bag toss thing..... we want to get a Bombers logo-ed set, with blue and gold bean bags. Got a buddy who works in digital print, and trying to find out if his company can do something for us. It's fun. Playing at the Kilter Brew Co anniversary event in June, along the banks of the Seine (??) River....that was a damn good night.

You have to show faith in your 90% kicker to make a 32 yarder. There's absolutely no reason not to.
-
so glad we made that game part of our mini pack of season tickets! Haven't been to one since 2006.... PUMPED!!

Yeah, not to derail a thread (Manitoba fishing is my favourite topic...maybe more than Bombers) but Crowduck isn't what it once was. It used to be an elite fishery in Manitoba with a lot of trophies. It's become stunted and now it's mostly an "eaters" lake, as you can tell by the pictures from the Bombers trip. Depending on what you're trying to catch, you're better off in The Nopiming or in Sunset Country.

Love how they're spending the bye...

Former Bombers in NFL (and spring leagues) news
Noeller replied to WinnipegGordo's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I know almost nothing about the NFL, but I'm told by someone who does that Alford is a lock to start with the Falcons because they are one of the worst teams in the league this year, and that Streveler has a legitimate shot because the Jets young back-up is injured and out long term, so there's definitely an opening there. Here's hoping all our "alumni" make it down south and lock up that $$$... -
how'd that work out when the roles were reversed last time? Not saying you're wrong, just saying I don't put as much stock into that scenario necessarily being to our benefit...

TSN willed the Bombers to Defeat

Definitely a lot of anxiety with how things went down. Have more concern over the game on the 25th than I've had in awhile. But, it seems like every time I'm concerned about a loss (prior to the last games vs Stamps and Lions) we do just fine. So here's hoping, anyhow. I start my holidays on Friday and unfortunately have to spend a couple days in The Gap before we head home to MB, and I just hate that stretch, with the Bombers coming off a loss. So much ammunition for the assholes, especially the ones claiming we don't have a kicker. Oi. Need a win on the 25th to shut the idiots up and get back to normal. -
I'd neglected to consider how this move will give her a bit more time off in the summers and less travel, allowing more time with her young family You can't put a dollar sign on those things. Truly happy for her and her family.

Interesting stuff.... it's a smart move for her, in so much as getting away from Bell and the ever-looming axe overhead. Curious about the salary difference and long term benefits (Pension, etc) with going private. At any rate, happy for her to have this gig...
-
fabulous near-90 minutes of television.....felt fortunate to have seen this in my lifetime.
-
being hyper-local is the only thing that is going to save aging media like TV and Radio.... you can get the National/International anywhere. Hyper local is where media needs to focus.
-
Bell is famous for this kinda stuff, but honestly...... she's been there 35 (!!) years so it was long overdue for retirement. She has made a LOT of money in that time.

although the CFL, geniuses that they are, did the same thing with their marketing slogan this year #BringEmOut, which was already in use by an NCAA team (Nebraska? Someone, anyhow...) and they never bothered to check or ask. Just used it. Dumb, dumb, dumb...

Heard about his mouthing off on a podcast the other day and I laughed. As if he has anything to say to anyone....

Glad I didn't bother changing mine.
