  1. I think I'm around 20 all told, mostly Ebay purchases. I'm always in the hunt for older ones. My white whale is a Dunigan jersey circa 1993. My pride is a Walby circa 1990... Raven-made. I don't own any jerseys of a player from the The Trinity regime. My wife has a Bighill, and I really want to add a Harris or Nichols at some point. There's just so many players from this championship core that are "worthy" of buying their jersey....
  2. That's such an Osh thing to say. He is ALL about his players...
  3. I still want to do this! I haven't dropped the 200 bucks yet but I'm going to for sure!
  4. Those are B-listers at best, I would say...
  5. Yet, what has changed on that OL to this year, where they seem like world beaters?
  6. Just to prove I'm not alone.... Lol.
  7. Ooooooof to thinking that Buck, in his healthy prime, was a better QB than Collaros. Don't get me wrong, Buck was great at one point in time, but I have really come to appreciate just how intelligent and talented ZC8 is. I knew he was good in Hamilton, but he has proven to be a wizard here.
  8. I was absolutely certain that if he was even brushed by a falling feather, that he'd be toast. While he has been protected better than anywhere else in the league, he has occasionally taken some shots and proved to be durable so far (*TAPS FOREHEAD TO KNOCK ON WOOD*)
  9. Rule of thumb in broadcasting is "every 2 minutes"....
  10. He was indeed. I'd forgotten about Matthews. So Schoen is definitely not the first REC recruit since Simon/AB3/etc....
  11. So is Schoen the first legit receiving star we've unearthed on our own, since the Taman/Ritchie regime??
  12. MODP is Bighill and then everyone else at this point of the season.
  13. The Riders are exactly who they've always been under this regime. Trash. CoFaj is a career 3rd stringer that flukes his way into some wins the past couple years, but we're absolutely seeing exactly who they are.
  14. I live on Twitter and see every scrap of news as it becomes available, but I don't remember hearing/reading a single morsel of information about Brandon Alexander's timeline to return from injury. They've been extremely quiet on that one.
  15. Everything coming from the draft said that Noah was the much better of the two, and that's all I've really got to go on....
  16. Driving after work tonight and listening to Lions radio team. Riders start taking trash penalties toward the end and PBP guy says "well, big surprise... They ARE the Charlestown Chiefs of the CFL...." Excellent.
  17. Could we merge this with the pre-existing "Broadcast Crew" thread that's going on? But Irving/Walby/Dunigan, ftr...
  18. Noah Hallett, maybe, but not Nick. I like Nick a lot as a player, especially on teams, but as a starter on D, it's a drop-off...
  19. I have completely moved on. I will always be grateful for what he did, and I know that we wouldn't have the last 2 GCs without him. Having said that, he's an Argo....and **** anyone who ain't us. Time for everyone to just move on.
  20. I don't have the numbers but I feel like we have consistently won in Montreal for at least a decade and the only reason we lost last year was because it was a monsoon and we rested a bunch of starters. You're grasping at straws for things to complain about Al...
  21. Don't buy into that mentality that the Stamps handed us the game. Our DB's dropped as many balls as their receivers. Stamps were lucky to be in that game last time.
  22. Same thing happened in Calgary at one of the most popular breweries in town. People lost their minds. ******* social media... Complete cesspool
  23. He was awesome at colour in the same way Dunigan is. It's not what you'd call technically sound, but it's entertaining as hell, especially if you're a Bombers fan.
