So far the thing I like best is that it's not a procedural Case Of The Week style.... It's one over arching storyline for the whole season.

Just for discussion... Personally I would NEVER take Money Hunter on my team. I'll always remember him as a guy who takes way too many penalties...

Honestly, I know so very little about the NFL because I just don't give a single **** about that league......but I just assumed they've got their hands full worrying about this season right now, and aren't messing around with new recruits, but I do suppose the scouts never stop working and looking for the next ones, so they might be looking right now, as Jay mentioned above...

that's a really good point...Schoen is better than any of those you mentioned, and if they got calls, he should have as welL. That is very curious, indeed...

In the middle of the season, I'm not surprised the NFL hasn't come calling yet. Once they get into their off-season, I have zero doubts Schoen will get workouts. His numbers this year were too good to not at least get a peek. Whether he sticks or not is another story, but he'll get a look in Feb/March, I'm sure...

I believe the one arrested was from The Pas, they said........and I'm not saying anything about the fine people from The Pas.......ahem...... but definitely not Americans.

Disney+ (via their Star subsidiary)... new ep every Friday. Due to being on streaming now, they're a lot looser with the language and stuff. It's quite good...

Wife and I started watching the new version of Criminal Minds the other night and I'm really digging it. Was always a fan of the original (though it was at it's best with Patinkin, Gibson and Moore), and this version (being streaming only) has lost the language censors and is dropping f-bombs all over the place. The dialogue is how people actually talk, and I suspect would talk in these situations. Have really enjoyed the first two episodes so far, and am looking forward to the next 8 or so.

I mentioned this exact scenario about a month ago and was thoroughly shot down here.... The prevailing thought being that neither Walters nor Osh has shown any desire to do those jobs.

I actually think it's a comment about Wade, who has been vocal about not wanting to be in his role too much longer (though I think he wants to put on the greatest GC of all time in '25 before he goes)...

They definitely need an adult in that room.... way too many kids running the daycare and it showed come playoff time. Less home run jackets and goofing around in the dugout and more professionalism, is what Mattingly will at least TRY to bring to the team. Having fun is important, but I think they need an adult to balance things out.

Yessir. A win at home would erase this awful taste in my mouth.
