ehhhhhhhhhh........ cash grab. You can't improve on the kits they have.... hopefully just a one off and it's not as egregious as I'm imagining. -
disappointed that it's not a true universal dental care program. Only for "low income" and not for everyone. Meh. Would have liked to have seen that made truly universal, but whatever. Cheaper this way, I suppose...not many households fall under the limits listed.

it's 100% true that things started steamrolling downhill after Buff left.....but there were other factors in there, as well. We had a really good d corps with Buff, Myers, Trouba, JMo.... and haven't really re-built it since then.

I personally love it. A true collaboration of the NDP and Libs is exactly what I'd like to see in a Canadian government.

Comrie is barely a serviceable NHL back up. There's a reason he's been a Samsonite player his whole career. He's not the guy. Berdin is a bag of cats... You can smell crazy on him. But I agree with Goalie about maybe you get one in return. What if Philly is crazy enough to "win now" and swaps Hart?? Not the craziest thing that's ever happened....

I'd be fine with Helle getting shipped out for a kings random IF the Jets had a legit starter anywhere in the system....

that seems like a really underwhelming return for Copp....

thinking there's a lot more equipment cost in football, which is where the extra expense comes from.....but still.....if you want kids to play, you have to find a way to be competitive with other stuff. That said, $245 doesn't seem like that much to me, and seems WAYYYYYYY cheaper than hockey, which I can't understand how parents pay for that every year... -
Brad Gushue whined about something? The HELL you say!! Acting like a giant puss since 2001....that's the Gushue I know.

The only thing in here I'll agree with is bring back Fantaseh. That was amazing and I want it back. I hate the TSN weekly roster thing. Lame. Give me a full season team that we draft in May. The fantasy draft with buddies over some drinks is most of the fun... Always a great time. -
I had an NHL VHS board game. You had to play a highlight clip and depending on what happened in the clip, it determined how you moved on the board... It was awesome when I was like 10. Ha ha.

Thought it wss at least half an hour too long (minimum) but the first hour-hour and a half, was one of my favourite Batman movies ever. The casting was near perfect.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed Canadian lineman Ben Koczwara and American defensive back Corey Straughter, it was announced Friday. Kocwara was selected No. 67 overall by the Bombers in the 2018 CFL Draft and spent time with the Toronto Argonauts during the 2021 season. He previously played four seasons at the University of Waterloo. The 21-year-old Straughter went undrafted following three seasons at Louisiana-Monroe. He signed as a free agent with the Jacksonville Jaguars last year but was released at the end of August. He led the Sun Belt Conference with five interceptions and 15 passes defenced in 2019. -
Anybody see the new Batman? Thoughts?

https://www.sportsnet.ca/curling/article/bottcher-koe-highlight-curling-team-lineups-starting-to-take-shape-for-next-season/ I am officially BONKERS EXCITED (!!!) ........ the best men's curler that Manitoba has produced in about 20 years is coming home (as I publicly begged him to do on Twitter...ha ha) to put together a legit contender!! BJ is one of, if not THE best 3rds in the world, and Colton Lott is almost an embarrassment of wealth to have at 2nd. I'm not huge on either of the Harndens, but if he shuts his mouth and just sweeps, it'll be an insanely talented team. This is the first real contender we've had since about 2010 when the McEwen rink was the best team in the world and just couldn't break through the playdowns.... Team Dunstone (Manitoba) • New lineup: Matt Dunstone, B.J. Neufeld, Colton Lott, Ryan Harnden Dunstone will skip out of his birth province again after playing in Saskatchewan during the previous cycle. He reunites with Lott, who captured Canadian junior and world junior bronze medals with Dunstone in 2013 and 2016. The pair also played together during the Olympic trials as Lott subbed for Moskowy. Neufeld will also play out of Manitoba again after spending the last four years with Koe. Harnden, from Sault Ste. Marie, Ont., comes over from Team Jacobs and can serve as their important.

all this talk about improving the offense....Ambrosie said he wants to see 49-49 games be a regular thing.........really? Do people not like seeing good defense? I love seeing great coverage by DBs...I love seeing a great pass rush from the line. I love seeing a great blitz from the LB corps. All this changing to make it easier on the O seems really artificial and dumb.
