  1. sofa king ridiculous.... Omicron still raging, Long-Covid still very much a thing, even for people who had mild initial symptoms........potential for more variants down the road. Just ******* ridiculous. I don't want any part of any of it.
  2. I just can't wrap my head around how they figure that making places LESS safe is going to increase business...??
  3. those are the kinds of players I normally gravitate toward for jerseys.... love the unsung NI types.
  4. really curious to hear some details on Alexander's injury and what his timeline is...
  5. ehhh 6'/185lbs.... I'd say average!
  6. I like the idea of having a jersey of a player representing different generations of Bombers. I have Pop, Walby, Dunigan, Khari, Milt, DB, Stoddard, Armstrong, Roberts... But it kinda ends with that generation. I really should have got a Nichols at some point (I'm sure I'll find one on eBay eventually) and now I need one of the current Gen... I was leaning toward Harris, but maybe Demski. The wife got Bighill, so he's covered. Still pondering... We shall see. And ya, it's a huge jersey fail doing any jersey that's not a standard name and number of a current or former player. Blanks are bad, your own name is bad, anything but a former or current player name and number is bad.
  7. Only played 7/14 games last year for whatever reason....
  8. I remember the name, but don't know a thing about him....at worst, these kinds of signings are ST depth. So.....it's something?
  9. Yeah, I've definitely been re-thinking who my next jersey will be.....
  10. It's what you do when you're the face of the league...
  11. 12 coaches in 11 years for The Hyphen. Just gross. McJesus is hurt right now, but has been playing through it, which is why he looks sluggish and didn't win the fastest player contest at ASG.
  12. I've thought about it......and I think Bighill is the true leader on the team, and a guy who prides himself on always working, and never putting himself ahead of the team. I think what's happened with Harris will be seen as him putting himself ahead of the team. I'm not sure who will become the vocal leader on offense now (I feel like Zach isn't the loud rah rah guy that Andrew was) but I think they'll be alright.
  13. It's not one guy.... A the guy who we all assumed was the most respected guy in the room. And if he IS the most respected guy and says this.... And word travels..... That's concerning.
  14. Sigh.... I just really hope this doesn't ruin the nice reputation we had going in Winnipeg. That's my only concern... That "place to be" thing we have going on right now is all I care about.
  15. In Walters We Trust. He hasn't steered us wrong yet. As far as the kicking, I really think they believe in Mourtada and Leigghio, and are prepared to go that route for the time being. At some point, it's going to be Legs show.... Just a matter of time. The rest of it.... I have faith there's a plan, because they always have a plan. Walters is the best GM in the league by a mile.
  16. Good for McGuire! ...And that'd be fantastic if Darby decides to stay......really important piece last year.
  17. Martin St Louis, currently an assistant coach for a U13 Pee Wee team, is the new interim HC for one of the most storied franchises in NHL history. So, that's.......something?
  18. Lalji said on Rod Pedersen's stupid thing that it came down to feeling disrespected by the club, after he felt he had given so much to the organization. Reading between the lines, I think the ask for him to do a workout and take a pay cut were taken poorly and now there's bad blood, unfortunately. Also, unfortuate:
  19. wildly underrated show...super funny......
  20. Yeah, regarding that Safety spot....I really think Noah Hallett (he's supposed to be the better of the two) is going to be given every chance in the world to win that spot in camp. Just the way MOS loves his CIS success stories......he'd love to have a Canuck in there. Having said that, if he doesn't show well, I could definitely see one of the more veteran imports being slid over (Maston, etc...)
  21. https://scarletknights.com/sports/football/roster/patrice-rene/10422 https://www.espn.com/college-football/player/_/id/4037516/patrice-rene 6'2" 205lbs - that's a big solid DB....
  22. As long as Cody Fajardo is their starting QB, then no... No their offense will not do alright.
  23. Regardless of what happens with Dobsen, Desjarlais or Eli.... We're gonna take an OL with our 1st. It's what we do because it works.
