Yep... For GC year, pay anything and everything. 2019 to now has been all about the 25 GC. Is it for sure that Tyrell is going to Ham? That sucks for sure.

But it was herculean at times. I'm generally a "not before Noon" guy, but on GC Sunday... Final game of the year.... Exceptions are made. We have about 8 degrees in AB (tho 60kmh winds) so we're in the yard playing cornhole with @DTonOB on the Bluetooth speaker and a TCB Bomber Beer in hand.... LFG!

LFG!! Being unfortunately in AB, we are trying our best to re-create the game day experience. Started with a home made version of the "Cafe Breakfast" from Stella's on Pembina, complete with a jar of their homemade jam that we bought last weekend. A good start to the day. The first of MANY Manitoba brewery beers on the way within the hour.... As Dave said in our group chat earlier: "in the words of Willie Jefferson, 'Why The F*** Not Us?!?!?'..."

Glad to hear it!! Already can't wait for next year. Hoping we can take the week off in between WF-GC and hopefully be in both games. Will be a truly incredible week in river city...

Not sure if I posted about this after the West Final, but our 1pm Monday flight got cancelled at 7am with no reason given. Next available flight Wednesday evening. Nope. Had to rent a car at the airport and drive back to Calgary to be at work Tuesday am. Eff our airlines almost as much as The Gap....

Since you asked: -Rewatch the 84, 88, 90, 19 and 21 GCs -Wear some kind of Bombers gear every day of GC week -Read every piece of content you can find online about the team this week -Soak up all the attention on the team because the offseason is brutally long -Pray, in a sort of ironic way... -Make sure you have plenty of beer from Manitoba breweries -Make sure you have plenty of whiskey made in Manitoba (both Crown Royal and "New Make") -Let the wife get her appie-making on.... -On gameday, start drinking at breakfast -CJOB pregame from start to finish Let's. *******. Go.

Last weekend flipped a switch for me that had been off for awhile... I'm back.

The entire game comes down to this... If our OL can't stand up to guys like Ceresna and McManis, it's a lost cause. Zach will be freaking out with no pocket and tossing the ball everywhere but to receivers.
