I was saying to Wes last weekend.... I'm so scarred from years of us never being able to recruit anyone at any position, that I still have a hard time trusting that our new players are any good. Watching Rutledge last weekend be really good, and I'm like "what if we actually have good young players coming up that can fit in seamlessly so that we never have a drop off when someone gets hurt....??" It's almost hard to imagine....

Sounds like maybe it was performance related after all.... I'm surprised they'd outright cut him but as suggested maybe he refused a PR spot...

I'd forgotten about Bowness and I guess he'd said he was leaning toward retirement, but IMO this was the best option still available....

They're not gonna just up and cut a guy who's been starting since day 1 of the season unless something happened off the field. There's almost no precedence for them straight up cutting a guy for performance based reasons. Something doesn't smell right here.... This week has been a mini bye week of sorts for the players.... I wonder if Glass went home for the week and something happened....
