I actually know a girl (yes, she's bonkers...) that did the "legally separated from my parents" thing during high school. Moved out, moved away and started living on her own at like 16 years old. Some people be bonkers...

Sorry brother...you know I got much love for ya.....but any team with MacBeth as their starting QB should not scare anyone on the planet. To steal a line from Avengers "That guy is a bag of cats...you can SMELL crazy on him..."

I actually burst out laughing about Micah Johnson being the best DT. My goodness.

It sorta depends on whether you think Ray is going to maintain the pace from last year, or if you believe it was a one off..... I honestly don't know enough about baseball to know for sure.

I think he had another injury after that, tho....broke his arm early this season, on top of everything. So he's had multiple injuries piling up...

that's 100% my focus. We need to break down the walls....especially men. Not to drive this thread too far off the rails, but my lowest point resulted in suicidal thoughts so clear that I ended up in the psych ward of a hospital for a week. They got my meds and my mind straighter and I've been on a much better path for about a year and a half now. If I don't learn from that, and use it to help others, than it's all a complete waste. So we all have to talk about it as openly as we can. Alright, back to "**** the Riders"!!

They said during the pre-game yesterday that it's a Labrum issue with BLM. Things aren't back to normal for him, but he said "I'm getting closer..." but definitely not close enough. He hasn't been right for a long time now.

I'd bet the team is hyper aware of the Riders pulling that ****, and if they weren't, they are after watching that game. They'll be on the lookout for it. I'd forgotten that in the Banjo Bowl that was a big scrap in the endzone after a BB TD, and 2 of their guys got ejected, while Harris (who probably could/should have been tossed) was only assessed a penalty. So there's a lotta history there...

yikes...

I actually have a non-Bombers affiliated one (that is Yellow/Blue) that I got from 17to85 for Christmas a few years back for ice fishing and I use it damn near every time we go out. It's a great idea for a product, no question...

I'm relatively outspoken about being a high-function depressive and anxious person. I'm on meds and in therapy for it, and manage life pretty well, all things considered. But I absolutely still battle anxiety every day, and no matter how confident I am in something (like us beating the ever loving piss out of The Gappers next weekend) there is ALWAYS that little voice in the back of my mind going bonkers about "What if.......??!!!!!" All this to say, I totally hear you........but I still think we win this game handily. We're just far, FAR better than every other team in the league.
-
No....IMO.

I've spent a lot of time thinking about that this season. And I think it's definitely both. For some reason, we picked up where we left off and kept rolling, while the other teams seem to have dropped off. Is it a by-product of us returning most of the 2019 line-up? Possibly. At any rate, I truly believe we're on a whole other level from the rest of the league.

30 bucks......Jesus Christ.

So sorry to hear this, Mark... hope you're back to 100 by Sunday!!

Manitoba has ruled the women's division of "professional" curling for several years now. Not sure how many follow the tour closely, but Tracy Fleury (from Northern Ontario) moved to Manitoba and skips 3 young Manitoba women, and they are the best team in the world right now. Kerri Einarson's rink (they list Gimli as their home rink, but they technically curl out of Winnipeg) are 2x defending Scotties champs, and Jennifer Jones rink is still one of the best on tour every weekend. On top of that, recent World Junior Champion Mackenzie Zacharias of Altona, is one of the hot young upstarts. They were granted a berth in the Scotties either last year or two years ago and didn't look out of place. They'll be dominant on tour soon. So yes, Mantioba's ladies scene is the best in all the land right now. Our Men's side, not so much. We have talent coming up the pipe, but the competitive rinks we have right now, are not actually competitive on tour. McEwen's rink is "dysfunctional", to say the least, and Gunner's team just isn't at the talent level of the top tour teams. The best Manitoba Men's curler is Matt Dunstone, who was lured away by The Gappers, where he's been skipping a team the last couple years. The hope among Manitoba curling fans is, with the Olympic "quadrennial" now complete, there will be an explosion as teams blow up at the end of this season and re-form as more competitive, talented versions to represent the Bison over the next 4 years. Fingers remain firmly crossed....

No, those tix are far too expensive. We're gonna head to our hotel and watch the game at the hotel bar. We fly out at 6:40 the next morning, so it'll be a relatively early bedtime!

What's so weird about KBFs take is that none of this is new..... We've been making combine jokes for decades. Why the butt hurt all of a sudden??? At any rate, **** that team and **** every one of their fans. I wanna be up by 30 at the half and keep rolling from there....

We are an urban populace.... Sask is entirely rural redneck. It's pretty clear.
