Re: Brown vs Miller. They're teammates and more than that, they have a personal relationship. If you ever get the chance, get Doug to tell you about Miller talking him (and others) into moving his hot tub... These guys have a lot of history.

On this topic.... I thought Doug and Wade were gonna really get heated during the OB pre game last night. Doug's really angry about the CBA, which he says essentially reduces the ratio to 5 NIs. Wade says "we have to have our best players on the field" implying that Americans (even "lesser" Americans) are the better players. Oi.

My understanding is it doesn't kick in until 2023...

no, but one on the PR as a project. Essentially, one of Brown/Prukop takes the McGuire role this year, and then one of the new guys (Mancuso?) takes the Brown role from last year...

I can't imagine they keep both "veteran" guys, right? Like it's an either/or with Brown/Prukop, you have to imagine....and then a totally new "project" at QB3.....right? re: the RBs... I think you're going to see both Oliveira and Augustine "start" and run as a tandem. I don't know how often they'd be on the field together, but I think you'll see them rotate in and out for each other a lot.

It wasn't televised anywhere.... As we all knew when TSN announced their broadcast sched....

We're showing the patented Richie Hall Soft Vanilla all night so I wouldn't read too much into our D being "shredded" regardless of what players are in... Also 1st preseason game so there's gonna be sloppy tackling.

It's a thing he does. We call it a "crutch"... Likely doesn't even know he's doing it. Think DT is having a solid night. There's always nerves with a first broadcast, but it's polished and a ton of energy. It'll only get better and better.

Interesting that Prukop looks worse than Brown so far. I expected Prukop to look polished, being slightly more veteran... But it's early. On ST..... Sloppy sloppy sloppy.... Almost like it's the first pre season game...

we're going to be playing a lot of back-ups, and Edmonton (for some reason....Jones??) is playing a bunch of starters. How our back-ups fair vs their starters will tell me a lot, I think. So I just want to see how "polished" we look, given that it's week 1 and there's been a **** ton of turmoil with the CBA bullshit...
