this feels like important data for context:

**** Hodge for choosing a BC rook over Alford...... Alford is CFL MOR in a walk. Yes I'm a homer, but the only award that shouldn't go to the Bombers is MO-ST, which would have been Dedmon on a walk before he got injured. Now it's a toss up and I'm honestly not sure who wins.

I know this is an optics thing, and you tend to frame everything in the most negative light possible, whereas I (mostly) try to frame things in the most positive light possible, but...... Before Collaros: 2nd most wins in the league over a span of several years, next to only Calgary = Top Tier

what the hell......why did I think she was from Steinbach or Altona or something.......?

Does Hellebuyck not live in MB full time? I just assumed, with a Manitoban wife, that he did....

**** that is shitty for Krebs. I like that kid...watched him play AJHL, and he's got some family around here. In our fantasy draft each year, we have to take 1 rookie, and he was my pick this year. Not sure if this helps me or not, in that regard.....

If MOS pulls a swerve and rests a bunch of 1's, then maybe.......but Montreal on their best day isn't as good as a mediocre Bombers team, IMO.

There's quite a bit I disagree with/am confused about in your narrative, but this......c'mon. This OL has been outstanding a lot longer than 2 years. We've had the best OL in the league by a mile for 2 years, but we've had a damn good OL much longer than that. I mean, going back to the Chungh/Goossen days, we've had an incredible OL. Virtually all of Matt Nichols/Andrew Harris's tenures, there was a phenomenal OL. What makes Collaros truly special is his ability to scramble and throw on the run. He does all the little things right, but the thing that makes him elite is his pocket presence and ability to move and find guys on the run. That's why he's the undisputed MOP this year... I think we could get a few good years out of Reilly yet, with an OL and some weapons, but I agree...he's not a long term solution. Also have no use for Masoli and would prefer Dane, tho I am not sold on him either...

a little concerning to see Winnipeg numbers go up....still a relatively low TP, though.....
-
So the Argos sign yet another player.....and yet another LB........bringing back 2019 MOR Nate Holley......

As long as we have the best OL in the league, I think QBs will want to play here....and that includes ZC. Also think Buck is doing a lot to attract FAs on offense......

fwiw, Riders players dropping like flies today....already missing Kyran Moore from a knee injury suffered vs Montreal, AC Leonard a no-show at practice due to unspecified injury, then newly acquired Duke Williams gets injured and taken down the tunnel, and shortly after that, Dan Clark goes down and can barely walk under his own power..... a shallow depth team gets shallower.....

Just in case anyone's curious.......

Not gonna lie...giggled like a motherfucker reading the tweet about Castillo. Hopefully he carries it over into the game....
-
Andrew Harris not practicing, as per The Councilor Ted Wyman......Castillo and Rose both on the field.

Yeah we decided not to wait and grabbed a pair in 227. Gonna be a time!

well now that's impressive...

I've been thinking a lot lately about the Bud Grant team that won 4 GCs in 5 years, between 58-62......I'd be cool with that stretch right about now.

Unreal...elite coaches!

Really doubt Petermann is coming back... he wanted to be closer to home, so he'll stay out East unless he's really angry about being on the PR.
