it just makes sense on so many levels, but there will be a ton of interest from around the league, and I wouldn't be surprised if more than a few teams were willing to can their current guy now that Trotzy is available.

It's insane that the Isles would let him go, and a complete miracle for Chevy that this even happened. I wonder if Trotzy doesn't wait out the summer to see how many jobs come open and then take the highest bid. He'll be in high demand, no question. man, that Sellers video put to Ludacris is going to outlive us all. Mine and Dave's buddy Chad (former OB.com poster Coorsman) made that video using two VHS decks and God only knows what else rudimentary tech he had access to in the early 00s. Hilarious that it's still going...

This is the CANADIAN football league. Preference, in some way shape or form, should always be given to the Canadian players, coaches, etc...

I blame it on being a 1980s baby. I've always been an Oilers and Jets fan. Loved Gretzky and wanted to be Grant Fuhr when I was a young tender in minor hockey. But there's always love for the "local" boys as well... Andrew McBain, Jim Kyte, Daniel Barthiaume... I remember collecting all their cards back in the late 80s and early 90s. In a league as big as the NHL is, I don't have as big an issue with the 2 teams thing. In a 9 team CFL however.... **** anyone who isn't us.

He called it immaturity in his younger days that got him tossed from The League and by the time he'd got his head on straight he was too old for what they were looking for. Simply put, we are EXTREMELY fortunate to have a player that is "too good" for this league... (similar to Mike Sellers in more ways than one I believe)
