They've had vaccine availability in the states since last year......Helle can't sit here and tell me he's not anti-vax and then in the same breath say that he hadn't been vaccinated before now. If you're not anti-vaxx then you would have jumped on it as soon as it was offered to you. So many idiotic ideas in the US right now......

this is from at least a week ago....he's been shouted down pretty soundly, but there's still a lot of morons who equate antibodies with vaccine, which is complete insanity.

Re: fringes of parties.... I heard a really interesting bit from Naheed Nenshi on CTV the other day, and he was talking about the PPC being a fringe party not only for the far right, but also the far left. Basically, things are like a circle, and the far edges of the left and right will eventually meet. What that meant for the PPC, was weird anti-vax hippies on the left who believe in "alternative medicine" and are completely against traditional science.....those people on the far left, eventually met up with the crazy far-right conspiracy theory types over their mutual hatred of the middle.

I saw the numbers for you guys today. TP holding steady around 2%, hospitalizations and ICU relatively low and declining. Vaccine numbers relatively high and continuing to rise. ~85% single dose // 80% double dose. And some of you commenting earlier this week that "as long as you're vaccinated, it's basically life as normal". It makes me incredibly depressed out here in Alberta. Our vaxx rates are much lower, and obviously the daily case counts are much higher. TP ~10%. Hospitals and ICU, even with expansion have overloaded and now collapsed. Triage in effect. And people still fighting against masks and proof of vaxx. A large % of the provincial government is fighting the Premier's implementation of COVID mitigation measures and proof of vaxx. No end in sight. ****....it is really depressing out here.

it'd be really interesting to see what Canada would look like if we had a 2 party system like the States.... Progressives vs Conservatives.

Yeah that was 2020...maybe summer......when Shandro physically attacked the doctor in his driveway. Shandro is a loose cannon...little Elroy Jetson type who just seems to always be angry about something. As for the CPC losing support in AB, that can be attributed to two things: The various alt-right parties (PPC, Maverick, etc) and the people angry with Kenney and willing to vote ABC.....

Wilson and Sudekis are going to be fantastic and both Musgraves and Carlile are solid options to go along with them. Excited for those eps!

I would be curious to hear what players of his generation said about Osh. I'm not sure that he was a hated player on the field. Fans, maybe, disliked him because he was so good.....but I get the feeling that he was extremely well respected on the field. But, Doug Brown would probably have more to say about that...

People give him WAY too much credit and blame. Trudeau is really just a figure head for the party....there is absolutely no way he makes any real decisions.

over in AB provincial polis, Kenney trying to save his skin by re-arranging the chairs on the titanic. Health Minister is turfed with Labour and Immigration Minister gets moved to Health. Presser coming at 3:30....should be very interesting. A lot of in-fighting within the UCP right now. Word on Twitter was 22 MLAs wanted Kenney turfed, and they need 29 to force him out and force an election. He apparently is remaining steadfast and will not go quietly into the good night.

I'm always a fan of that...ha ha. I have no doubts that everyone on the CBC panel is a professional and would never pick a side, but we're all human, and they know who funds public broadcasting, and who aims to defund it. That's not lost on anyone.

I'm really curious to see when and how they go about transitioning from Trudeau to Freeland as leader. She's obviously The Next One, but when? I think O'Toole has a longer leash than Scheer, and will be given another election to see if he can make gains. All in all, I'm glad the Con's didn't get in, and am hopeful the Libs/Dippers will work together to continue building a more progressive Canada...
