I'm a mess. Sitting at a downtown Calgary pub and just can't remember feeling this bad about the Bombers. Gonna get some kinda ****** up tonight... Everybody kept saying "Where's @17to85????".......

Even in 2014, 2015 etc... you could see the team building toward something. This feels like quicksand and you can't do anything about it. I can't believe I actually sat through that in the **** hole that is McMahon...

I sincerely feel like Maier is going to throw for 350-400 and they'll pile up close to 500 total offense against us. It's not going to be a fun day at the ball park. But... The weather is supposed to be half decent and we got invited to a tailgate potluck party thing in the parking lot outside McMahon, so I'm going to do my best to enjoy the evening. Our only real hope is the D somehow finds itself and Brady O rushes for like 150... But I have almost no faith in any of that happening.

This is actually a good point I think. A healthy Brady O with plenty of touches makes a world of difference to the entire offense, and quote frankly we haven't seen that this year. If he's ready to take full time snaps this weekend, that could be enough to carry the team this week.

Harris looked to have tweaked something for sure when a big DL landed on him. Walked off under his own power, lucky for them, but man that feels like a ticking time bomb.

It's almost impossible to go to a game at Fort Hew, then a game at McMahon and have someone tell you it's the same professional sports league.... For a city with that much private money and that large of a tax base to draw on.... It's staggering that they have the worst facilities in pro sports. But the populace has no stomach for spending of any kind, regardless of the positive future impact for generations to come.

Ya it's moreso about what an awful dump McMahon is (and yet the ticket prices are wildly unreasonable) just to get beaked. I definitely don't regret the games at IGF (in spite of the travel to get there) because the game day experience is second to none. I'm sure we will end up driving down for the game next Sat but man I'm not looking forward to it....

Larry Updike on CJOB is, im sure in some subconscious way, a reason I went into broadcasting. I listened to a lot of OB in the late 90s before I graduated HS (...because I'm cool like that ..)

Slept on it... A bit hungover.... Can't remember this many key injuries to start a season. Unbelievably cursed. I'll chalk the season up to that and hope that 2025 is a little bit better...
