I don't think you'll get an accurate answer here. It's gonna be very biased on both sides. You'd have to actually be in the bombers room to know.

I honestly didn't think Jake would be playing this much once Lawson was ready. Absolutely wild the snaps he's getting.

He was very open about how you can't do them all at once... Have to do a bit at a time. Now, having said that, nobody would argue that Jake should have been part of the purge by now.

My only issue with Jake is usage. I was wondering if Lawson got hurt again last night because Jake took a TON of reps .. that just can't be happening.

I think being the night before Stampede was intentional. Anything DURING Stampede (starts tomorrow), day or night, is gonna be a tough sell, like you say, b cause of everything else going on.

Stamps need a new stadium and a winning team... And that would just be to break even. This just isn't a good CFL town. The LOLks don't need a stadium as much as they need a winning team again. Edmonton is more of a CFL town than Calgary for sure. They're ready to cheer for something...

I would be SHOCKED unless they papered it very heavily, which is a possibility. Nobody goes to Stamps games anymore. They've taken to tarping off some of the upper deck. The Bombers gave away 1,000 tix to Bombers fans who donated to Red Cross for wildfire relief. So wouldn't surprise me if this is very heavily papered.

I definitely would have given Ehlers that deal and maybe more, but he clearly wanted out. He believes he's a top line player and he apparently doesn't like the fishbowl. Whatever... As mentioned, he seemed like a nice kid, but he was never healthy for a full year. I'm not heartbroken over this.
