They're having a pretty cool party for the LDC as well. Pizza buffet and beer specials. Would give anything to be there for it.

Every game we go to the tailgate area first, and have always had the full pat down, wand scan, and my wife's backpack thing gets thoroughly checked.... I mean it's not TSA level or anything but it seems okay to me.

Also of note... Luc Mullinder is absolutely painful on that broadcast.... I truly understand being a regional broadcaster but man, he is way over the top.

And from what I gathered yesterday (I listened to the first quarter of the Riders game while running at the gym) the Riders have taken away the top rows of the stadium because they couldn't sell them and it was looking bad on TV... So they're not even TRYING to sell all their seats over at PAS West.... Definitely the class of the league in ol' River City...

This is all I want.... It's not too much to ask.

I feel a bit better about this game with it being at Fort Hew (games out east are always death) but until the offense proves it's back in track, I will still have doubts about winning any game anywhere. One week at a time... 1-0 each week.

To me, the definition of a True Canadian in the CFL is someone born in Canada and only played 3 Down football their entire life. I'm not saying I don't like other types of quasi Canadians. Lord knows I'm a huge Woogie fan. But he's not a real Canadian... And that's fine. I believe people hyping up Rourke as this "OMG A CANADIAN PLAYING QB IN THE CFL?!?!" are doing a great disservice to people like Tre Ford, who only ever played up north. Rourke isn't such a unicorn... Based on his training, he's no different from any other rando American QB that comes up here...

Tre Ford is Kid Canada. Rourke is a guy who never wanted to play Canadian football and said his CFL time was an unexpected detour.

TSN doesn't currently have anyone great on football. Gord Miller is the best they have and he doesn't do football anymore. Smith WAS pretty good but he's just so old and he's not really a PBP guy... He can do it, but it's not his forte. Neilson is enthusiastic but not everyone's cup of tea.... Ferguson is so raw. His Ontario accent also drives me bonkers, but that's a whole other thing. Bottom line, TSN needs DT and I have no idea why he's not there already unless he just doesn't want to be...

Combining Edmonds and Munz is fair... It is a LOT of guttural yelling for sure.....

Broadcast equipment is better, and the people both behind and in front of mic/cam are always getting better with each generation because they learn from those who came before....

Meh... Remains to be seen.
