I personally think this current incarnation of the team is sour and isn't ever going to work. Buddy of mine and I were saying they need to get Dunstone back from Sask, have him Skip, Mike 3rd, Reider 2nd and Samagalski Lead... That'd be a team....

Honestly I'd call this gig an upgrade. He was doing well with Bell (good salary, benefits, pension, union...) but provincial government has some awesome benefits to it as well, and I'd speculate better job security than traditional media right now, especially for gentlemen of a certain vintage...

I didn't want to say it, because I'm good with whatever the Bombers do, but WJ5 disappearing for many games at a time concerns me. As you say, when he's on, he's worth every penny. When he's not, which can be for stretches of the schedule, that money seems like a waste...

I think a LOT of people are expecting him to fade hard this year "because he doesn't have his steroids anymore!!11!" so because of that, I expect him to have one of his best seasons ever in 2020...

Jefferson left the 2015 champion Esks to follow his coach to Sask. He loves that guy....and he also loves Osh, is my understanding. So....there's that, anyhow.

We knew NOTHING about Strev and he had even less experience than McGuire when he had to start the season 2 years ago. People need to relax. McGuire is gonna be QB2 unless he poops the bed in camp.

it's not about what we think...it's about knowing how The Trinity thinks. And there's NO QUESTION they have McGuire penned in as QB2. Promote from within is exactly how they work.

no question McGuire is our QB2. I'm curious who QB3 is gonna be. The midwinter tryout camp coming soon.....
