Naylor reports that they're likely going to do another of these during the current off-season, but with Germany being the likely destination.......I just don't get it.....
-
For what it's worth, in my mind, Kyle Connor is more important to this team than Patrick Laine......if you're discussing LTCs, anyhow...
-
I am absolutely positive that we're going to look back on this Mexican project the same way we do the American expansion, one day. Just "What the **** were they thinking...??" kinda thing...
-
And then there's this... https://nflspinzone.com/2019/01/12/jacksonville-jaguars-mike-reilly-bridge-quarterback-2019/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

This is one of the funniest things I've read on here in a long time... And I pray Bighill or his agent doesn't see it... I don't think we've had an FA as important as Bighill in years and years around these parts....
-
There was one for sure, that I read about, but not sure how serious it was...

imma be honest......when I saw I had a notification of Iso quoting me, I was certain that I was being lectured for poor choices....ha ha. -

I want to vote for Tom Canada and Herb Gray, but I'm just not 100% sure..... -
Man, that's sad...one of the all time great power forwards. You never realized just how good he was until he put on the Maple Leaf, and then he was an elite level superstar...

They just had the league meeting in Quebec. Commish said they'll have paperwork from the PA mid-late Jan, and they'll be able to go to the bargaining table around March 1 (as of this afternoon that was the word). Now, my question is: What does that do to FA Day on Feb 15?

I respect the Bombers organization for doing it now and giving him time to catch on elsewhere, which he most certainly will, for less...
-
He was an amazing Bombers rep for a long time (by pro football standards) and I am so glad we were able to see him play for our team, but he'd definitely dropped off. This is a real Wally-esque move, cutting a guy just as he's starting to fall off. Also, if there's one thing Walters and co can recruit, it's DBs. I have full faith in them to have several candidates in camp...

From Jeff Hamilton: The #Bombers announce they have released cornerback Chris Randle, who was still under contract for next season. Below is a statement from GM Kyle Walters. #wfp

Don't get me wrong..I'm all for keeping Laine. He's a one trick pony, but it's a hell of a trick. Thing is, his agent can't be asking for the moon this off-season. He hasn't come close to earning that Matthews/McJesus money yet...
-
I really don't think it's such an incomprehensible thing to think Laine might get dealt. Especially if he continues to underperform the way he has so far this season....
-
Can confirm.....

Esks Bryant Mitchell off to the NFL now, too....another great talent gone south... Also of note, some good Huffer quotes from Penton, talking about the CBA and such. They've given BLM notice that they need to know his plan by FA day at the latest, so that they can decide whether they need to go after a guy like Reilly.
-
He said pretty much immediately after the WF that he was coming back and couldn't wait to get started again...
-
CBA first, then Bighill shortly after.....
-
Jones staying with the Riders is good news for every other team in the league...
-
To kinda put this whole thing in a nutshell: Saying Medlock had a bad punting year, by any metric, is patently false.....
