Derek is doing the absolute best he can with the coach's show. MOS just isn't very forthcoming so it's being able to work within his parameters. And honestly, for 75% of people, it's more than enough. And it's still insanely popular, which is why it's an easy sell for the Corus marketing team and is always loaded with spots.

I don't need an ass kicking.... Just a win. The first of many, hopefully. I'm very concerned about how rusty a lot of the 1s will be, especially on O. I feel like it's gonna look outta sync for the first bit... Especially Brady trying to get used to the blocking at game speed again. If we win 3-0 to go 1-0 on the season, I'll take it. It's gonna be damn good to be back in our STH spot again with our little "family" of fans with plenty of good beers... Ell eff gee.

Based on what we've heard and "heard", it seems like maybe Andrew Harris was not very FIFO at the end of his run in Winnipeg.... And not just the players but the families... They're all very close/welcoming from what I've read...

You've mentioned this a couple times recently. Let's maybe not say "loves to"... It happened once that we know of. We don't know if it was drink or smoke. No question he should be held to account and it absolutely doesn't FIT IN..... but let's not take it to the extreme of "Kenny Lawler is always drinking and driving" which is sort of implied here. The FIFO thing has become somewhat of a marketing thing among a certain group of fans and now that it's popular, it isn't cool anymore... I get it..... ...But I still like that there's a code of conduct within the team which is seemingly self policed among the veterans/leaders. It doesn't mean there won't be mistakes made and guys slipping a bit... But I like knowing that guys are at least seemingly being held to account.

Love the FIFO and love Mike's complaining... They are both right and both enjoyable.
