  1. Playing the Riders is a big Risk/Reward thing to me. Beating them is the greatest feeling ever, but should we lose.... We never hear the end of it. And I don't wanna have to deal with that......
  2. Ya I was wondering, too..... Jazzsax did you have the Bombers flag on a stick? I was front row at the end with my fiancee and our friends kid....
  3. I can tell you with 100% certainty that, from a few feet away, he had a noticeable limp last night at the end of the game. Having said that, Booch is dead on.... He'd have to be missing a limb. Also agree that I'm not convinced Adams is done. It might take getting to the big game, but we might see him yet...
  4. Bonus Ogopogo: 17to85's nephew is also Tristan.... Really wanted to meet him. We were able to get down close to the field and he came over, was super cool with a very young fan, and signed his jersey. He definitely made himself a lifelong fan tonight...
  5. Snow supposed to taper off late afternoon/early evening, so if they can clear it off well before the game, there'll be negligible amounts to worry about during the game. "Mainly cloudy, Low -18" for tonight...
  6. Unreal....I can only imagine. I still have nightmares of the Esks routing the Bombers at Commonwealth in 96 which was almost entirely because of footwear on that God awful natural grass. I'll never get over that. Interesting that the new stuff is really good for holding up in "conditions"....hopefully that evens things up for everyone today.
  7. I'm really curious about shoe choice in conditions like this.... @Booch did you ever play in conditions like this? What kind of footwear is best for astro-turf in the snow/ice?
  8. I hauled out all the ice fishing clothing tonight so I'll be ready to roll tomorrow. We've got a group of at least 8 going... We have seats in section M I believe, but we'll likely move to midfield because everything will be open...
  9. Key there is it's not MVP........it's MOP......
  10. Based on weather conditions, players sitting, and just how close these two teams have been all year......I don't think I'd call it an upset, either way....
  11. It's brutal, for sure.....I enjoy living in rural AB for a lot of reasons, but there are people living here, that I just don't understand...
  12. I was there for that one, and I'll be at this one.....here's hoping!!
  13. It's getting a jump start on next year's Spring Camp. Get a look at 'em now in practice reps and see if they're worthwhile bringing back next spring.....seems like a smart move to me. Let 'em go now, because the season is over and we don't need them anymore.
  14. that's the shits about Me Myself and I......they had a hell of a cast. That's a real shame...
  15. Likely see most, if not all, next year in spring camp...
  16. No they aren't... At least not much. Buckley gets the start...
  17. I wish nobody had told him this place existed...
  18. Season ender... Oi vey. Nichols will play next week if he has to be held up Weekend At Bernie's -style... There is zero doubt in my mind.
  19. A month ago, it was absolutely no question. Total no brainer. Now, after the last couple weeks, it's closer for sure.
  20. Also Nichols' come-from-behind wins that he engineered. Dude was straight up outstanding this year...
  21. @BobIrvingCJOB Dan Lefevour WILL make his 8th CFL career start at QB when Bombers visit Calg Friday
  22. I am really curious how the voters decide, but I sincerely believe Nichols should be league MOP...
  23. No question....If Harris had hit 1k/1k, then he gets it......without it, it's just a pretty good season (in voters eyes!) Singleton has been a critical darling this year...
  24. Medlock for ST POY is absurd....Christ. So, looking at this list, it seems like Nichols vs Reilly for MOP, eh?
  25. Laine's problem is simple: I took him in my pool this year, so he's snake bit for the year...
