  1. We have a couple quasi GDTs going, but here's an official once since someone complained about the lack thereof last week.... 3pm CST -- Andrew Harris calls this a "must win" game.....win and you lock up a home playoff game and can officially rest as many people as you need until Sunday November 12th! Last I heard you guys were expecting Mix Of Sun and Cloud, High +3....not a GREAT forecast, but it is what it is. Hope to see lots of folks out today makin' IGF as loud as possible. Let's get it done!
  2. not sure the RBs make it out of the East Semi, but.......we'll see. Once the calendar flips to playoffs, it feels like everything changes. You just never know....all you need is a ticket to the dance.
  3. Mason was outstanding once again....Jets gotta find a way to score, but they've run into two hot tenders the last couple nights. Murray and Bob are both pretty damn good and made some 10-bell saves.
  4. OL has been really good this year...don't look at sacks as much as pressures. Pressures have been really low (lowest or among lowest in the league?) and that's all that really matters. I don't think Nichols has a career game, because he's missing too many pieces, but he'll do what he does and basically will the team to a win as much as he can...
  5. RBs don't really scare me at all......I think T.O. comes outta the East, no matter which West team ends up there. Toronto vs ?? in the GC this year...
  6. to hear some people tell it, nobody else would want him!
  7. Jesus Christ you guys...not knowing the time zones.....how do you even graduate high school?? One other thing worth considering is the depth of Canadian talent. Some would say it's already pretty thin, so what happens if we add another team and need even more Canadians to fill out that roster?
  8. In his last game, Mason was the best player on the ice, by far, through at least 2 periods, but got lit up like a Christmas tree. Team was their usual turnover machine, causing WAY too many high quality scoring chances. He stood on his head for most of it, but only so much a guy can do. Here's hoping they give him more to work with tonight.
  9. Hopefully he doesn't have to because his f***ing team actually showed up for him, for the first time this year...
  10. well, fwiw, Andrew Harris says it is.........but whatever. It's all moot...I firmly believe they'll get it done tomorrow.
  11. WBB FC is pissed off about last week and will come out flying...
  12. Well, hang on now......Bauming JUST posted....... @DarrinBauming 3m3 minutes ago Travis Bond is out this week. He suffered an upper-body injury last week and has not practiced this week. Hardrick still possible. #Bombers
  13. It's definitely a curious situation....fwiw, saw Bond posting on Instagram last night (Twitter? Can't remember...) that the entire OL spent the day at Thermea yesterday. I would imagine a full spa treatment would go a long way to helping those guys heal up and feel ready to go.
  14. I'd say it's more about getting Bond and Hardrick full game cheques...
  15. the other aspect is travel...assuming the next logical landing spot is the maritimes, it's been reported in the past that travelling that far east (and vice versa) would be a sticking point...
  16. Not me... Not when my kicker is Justin Medlock last year.
  17. **** Chris Jones.....he's a piece of **** and a pox on the league....no question. In another, related, subject: **** everything about the Saskatchewan Roughriders organization, especially their "fan" base.....
  18. well.........it's not what some posters here are USED to seeing, so it's not what they'd prefer............and certainly, MOS/Walters confirmed that they were wanting to go in another direction by auditioning Knox and Santos there during TC, but Hurl apparently beat them out for it so *shrugs*.....
  19. heavy on brains, too, I suspect...
  20. Re: Murray's brutal play on Dressler: CFL.CA STAFF TORONTO — The Canadian Football League (CFL) announced on Thursday that Toronto Argonauts linebacker Rico Murray was fined for a dangerous tackle on Winnipeg Blue Bombers receiver Weston Dressler. The league also announced that Winnipeg Blue Bombers defensive tackle Cory Johnson was fined for a high hit on Toronto Argonauts quarterback Ricky Ray. As per league policy, the amount of the player fines was not disclosed.
  21. Depends on the day because MOS checks with Medlock before each game to see what his range is. But he definitely trusts him... There's no question about that.
  22. Sounds like Bond and Hardrick both out this week, with Neufeld in at LG and Foketi at RT. Randle back practicing today, but Mike Miller, Jesse Briggs and Timothy Flanders all non-participants still...
  23. @DarrinBauming Justin Medlock used the word “laughable” to describe his performance this season, and says it is a mental thing and not technical. Medlock called his miss on potential game-winner "upsetting" and that he beat himself up over it. "It's kinda hard to talk about." #Bombers
