I have always said there's a happy medium... Osh isn't as bad as some say and he's also not infallible. I love playing as many Canadians as possible but I also like winning and believe there's merit to allowing Americans to stay with a team for a length of time and be considered National for roster purposes. There's a happy medium somewhere.

Ehhhhhhhhhhh......... I mean you're partly there.
-
You, Booch and JBR.... Of course each person has to do their own critical thinking... But you three know what you're talking about and it's appreciated by this doorknob, anyhow...
-
Booch legitimately had a camp with the Bombers. Until recently I was convinced he was either Travis Ortega or Tony Ortiz.... But he is for real and knows what he's talking about. Yes he gets hung up on some things sometimes but his knowledge is for real. #TeamBooch

Not to sound like a Riders fan at all, but I actually didn't mind what I saw today. There was a lot of positive... Take away Barriere INTs... It's a tight game. Some easy decisions for coaches. We're gonna be just fine come June 6th and I already can't wait for May 31....

100% agree with this. Thomas is a nice change of pace for CKRM... Very professional. Mullinder just sounds so dumb. This.
-
All in all, I remembered how much I love watching the Bombers and how much I hate everything about the province of Saskatchewan, and especially the Riders. I'm very excited about the Bombers 1s when everyone is healthy. It's gonna be a good year....
-
Basically the Bombers are terrible and look like they've given up. Hitting the panic button HARD. LOL. Nah everything is fine but the new QBs are undercooked. Need much more time. It's a Collaros Strev Show this year.
-
Well, you see... He doesn't have time to set up and throw properly.... Because the back up OL is letting bodies through too easily. So the throws are rushed you see... And they end up in the dirt because of this, you see.....
-
First series.... Give him time.
-
Yikes... Not great throws there to start.
-
The pedigree says he can play... Just might take longer to get used to the speed.
-
Just sounds dumb... Like the dictionary definition. Compared to Doug Brown who is hyper intelligent (at times too much so for how own good) Mullinder is painfully unintelligent.
-
Riders starters vs our mostly D starters is what I wanted to see... Pleasantly surprised with Strev. Feel bad for Barriere... Doesn't look ready. Stoked for Haba, Garbutt and Fox to be starters.
-
I've been saying Barrier the whole time. DT asked Tait if it's Barry-yay and Tait laughed and said "sure!" As if he also had no clue.... Thought that was odd.
-
I think Thomas is okay as PBP but Mullinder as Colour is the worst.
-
Gonna see if I can get that to time up properly but didn't think it'd be possible. Hmmm. Next commercial maybe I'll test that out...

I usually listen most nights on my Google mini while I'm making supper in West Central AB... There's some non local sports stuff that he covers which aren't really "for me" but they do a really good job of covering all the bases to reach as many potential listeners as possible.

VAST majority of people don't care about the minutiae that most of us here care about. The fluff pieces draw the most clicks, otherwise they wouldn't be doing it that way. But obviously the best case scenario is a bit of both. Do some feature piece columns for people who just want that, and then have a bit of minutiae.... but it's also really hard when the team doesn't want you to have that information. Especially injury information. They won't give that out so there's not much to work with. Now, I don't really watch those Bonfire Sports things, but my UNDERSTANDING of it is that if you want more in depth information, Bauming is at least trying to give you that. A part of the problem is you have less reporters doing way more work now than they used to. Everyone is wearing 7 hats and covering several different beats from news to sports and everything in between. The days of a writer and then a camera man and then whoever else all going down to the stadium and their sole job is to cover the Bombers... are definitely over. The one guy who might be strictly responsible for Bombers coverage (and quite frankly he's done an okay job of coming on here and updating us) is Derek. And he's also updating his twitter with information from practice every day. Most other guys have to cover multiple things and the Bombers beat is just one small part of their job. Newsrooms getting gutted all over. I definitely feel for them.

Coleman was really great in a limited role as Hanks's dad in You've Got Mail, one of my all times faves...

Man I think most of us thought Barriere was the next great Eastern Washington QB in the CFL (and maybe he still can be ) but it seems surprising, just based on hype, that he's APPARENTLY losing the battle to Wilson. Curious if that says something really good about Wilson or if Barriere is not living up to the hype...
