I live that Winnipeg had the smaller sized arena. Create demand. That's the best model for now. Their cash flow isn't harmed that much by it, and players would rather play for a full, smaller crowd than a half full smaller crowd....

I'd give him more overall (or up front??) money if there was some kinda guarantee that he's gonna stick around awhile. Like, exchange up front cash for term? Something like that...

I don't think "it's too bad", necessarily.....there's more to hockey than scoring. I love a good defensive play and great goaltending. Scoring is fun, but now they really gotta earn it. I'm a HUGE fan of Wayne Gretzky, but let's be honest, some of those goals he scored back then......that was awful goaltending.

Kinda has a Lost vibe to it (I've never seen that show...) but I think I'd still watch this....

not sure what it is about these two teams, but (arguably) the two best goaltenders in the league this year have looked like ass in every one of the meetings so far. Their numbers are atrocious on the season, head to head...

Just doubling back on this. Finally had a chance to listen to the whole thing this afternoon and again it was really well done. Some great comments from MOS, Lapo, Buck and DB97, I thought. Bob talking CFL with people is something I will always love listening to. You get so many CFL voices that legitimately believe they're celebrities (not just Rod P... There are a few...) and when Chandler Fenner tells Bob it's an honour to talk to him because he s a living legend, Bob is legit embarrassed and doesn't even wanna further that idea. We are so blessed to have Knucks, I'll tell you what...

The hit by Chiarot to keep the play alive on that opening goal is everything I love about hockey...

For sure, and sometimes a team needs a change just for the sake of change....no question about it. But it'd be tough to justify that whoever you hire after Q would be as good...
