I have zero interest in cutting Ogopogo....he started out slow, as he shook off rust and battled back from injury, but he finished the season like a demon. Was legitimately curious to see what he and JJ could do together with a full season. Hoping they still get that chance...

that entire article was predicated on a tweet with no real basis....Henoc replying to a fan with "Trying to get something done!" which doesn't necessarily mean that he and his agent are "working together" with the Bombers....it's kind of vague. I live that Winnipeg had the smaller sized arena. Create demand. That's the best model for now. Their cash flow isn't harmed that much by it, and players would rather play for a full, smaller crowd than a half full smaller crowd....

I'd give him more overall (or up front??) money if there was some kinda guarantee that he's gonna stick around awhile. Like, exchange up front cash for term? Something like that...

I don't think "it's too bad", necessarily.....there's more to hockey than scoring. I love a good defensive play and great goaltending. Scoring is fun, but now they really gotta earn it. I'm a HUGE fan of Wayne Gretzky, but let's be honest, some of those goals he scored back then......that was awful goaltending.
