I don't think anyone is "enamoured" with starting Hurl, but he's certainly not worth getting upset about. Definitely very intelligent. Maybe not as physically imposing as some would like.

Sobbing about Hurl as a glaringly huge hole that's going to cost us games or some such is ridiculous at this point. He's an assignment sound player who is not the fastest or strongest but will rarely be out of position.

Seems like a lot of fretting over players we know barely anything about. I'd humbly suggest a wee dose of chill for now...

The kid is good...he was my favourite player from that draft class. Honestly thought I'd take him at #1 that year, if I were a GM. Despise the Habs with every fibre of my being, so it'll be tough to cheer for him...

Concourse congestion has been my ONLY issue (and a minor one at that) since the stadium opened. This will definitely help alleviate some of that.

I should clarify -- he was getting a ton of reps in both Rookie and Mini camps and was with the 1s on opening day of Main, then got hurt, and when he came back this week, he's been getting time with the 1s.....

For me, it would come down to LG vs Sony, and I generally go LG all day. With TVs, there becomes a point where it's almost TOO big, and you're better off going projector anyhow. I'm not sure I'd go as big as 75" with a non-projector ever. Depending on the size of your room, the 65 should be PLENTY, and if you accompany it with a killer sound system, you're going to have a GREAT entertainment package.

By all accounts, Thorpe's been getting 1s time during TC, so I fully expect him to get reps there tonight. If he's as good as they believe he CAN be....he'll be a treat to watch.

If I was betting, I'd say he was on media row, up above, and either had a camera guy from Global with him, or he likely has some videography experience himself, and did the shooting...either way....it was quality.

It's people like you who probably deserve a championship team more than anyone. Dave and I have talked a few times over the years about how you can't ever give up on this team, because after all the heartache we've endured, the payoff is going to be so sweet..........one day......

Knucks will be just fine. We were busy last Saturday (thanks Dave...) so today is the first chance I'll have to listen to the pre-game show (along with the game itself) and I couldn't be more excited. Gonna be a good day, Tater...

Kelly's reign of error was the first and only time in my life where I contemplated saying "I can't cheer for the Bombers right now".......that, in itself, is inexcusable and I will never forgive Mike Kelly for that...

and I honestly don't think Hurl is *THAT* bad....he's adequate, but not a superstar Barrin Simpson-type....which is find, *IF* you have a dynamite Front 4. I'm not ready to say they've fixed their problems...not until I see it myself.....but it sure seems like they're trying.

If starting Hurl means we have a nearly-impenetrable Front 4 (thanks to Poop), then I'm okay with it...

Despised that man when he coached in this league....biggest ******* there was, at the time. But without question one of the greatest to have ever coached the game. RIP "The Don"...
