I always try to read between the lines a bit with your posts (ha ha) ....so this is very interesting, indeed.......I will say this: I want nothing more than for this kid to be Walby 2.0 (not so much as in Greatest OL to ever play the game, as Local Kid Does Good, Stays Here Forever)

Some more changes announced by WBB FC: (via FB page) Winnipeg Blue Bombers CFL 7 mins · Getting excited for the new season? We took your input, feedback and wishes and have made some changes for 2017. To recap: 1. The new Rapid Transit terminal will open in early July. All buses will use the terminal including park and ride and regular transit, freeing up the roads around the stadium and speeding up entry/exit on game days. 2. New lowered concession prices mean hot dogs, perogies, grilled Kielbasa on a stick and many more new options will be priced starting at $4. 3. The Blue Bomber Bar Network - leaving from Gate 2, this shuttle will transport fans directly to bars downtown post-game. ? 4. Approximately 400 seats were removed to make space for new viewing platforms on the concourse for 2017. This will alleviate concourse congestion and create better viewing in the endzones. 5. And finally, the new Ticket Swap program for 2017 - Can’t make a home game? You can now donate your tickets for a tax receipt or swap games! The lightning show, the Jays game on the jumbotron, Wade put draft on sale for $5 as a thank-you for sticking around....by the time the game got going, the place had cleared out to less than 20k in there, which was still super loud, but there wasn't so many people that you felt really jammed in (I don't do well with big crowds), and of course the Bombers kicked the **** out of Hamilton....it was a GREAT night at IGF....

I was at the Ham lightning game. Most fun I've ever had at any live event.

Lefevour is terrible...but he has some experience. Whatever. I still hope the guy we've been training up the last couple years steps up and takes the reins...

As long as concessions are on par with every other stadium in the league, I'm totally fine with whatever they charge. It's a totally different scenario at "events". For us, when we're going to a Bombers game, we're at Barley Bros EVERY time for a proper beer and a quick bite, then walk over to the game (they let you park for free there). So, I don't necessarily eat or drink at the game, but I completely understand the WBB FC charging the same as everyone else...

they're both awful, but I'd rather have LeFevour over Crompton......not by much tho. I'm sincerely hoping Davis lights it up in camp and wins the 2 spot outright.

Do you get a live sporting event at a normal fast food restaurant? That's a really bad example....

Are you able to mention any ideas that have been batted about around the office? I'm just sorta curious what potential options there might be...

Further to that: @friesensunmedia Tidbit from #Bombers: stadium capacity down 400 or so, due to removal of seats for more concourse standing room. Looks like it is making more room -- fantastic! That was my only even-slightly-negative thing about IGF.....otherwise, that place is a palace!

If anyone's going to the Open House, I'd be really curious to know some "potential options" Wade et al might have for alleviating the costs, just as hypotheticals....
