Call it what you want … you need to move on from Collaros
Noeller replied to Mike's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
never said he was BAD..... said he was overrated. Which he absolutely is. A very average QB who managed to play forever because he's Gumby, and never got hurt, so he racked up stats due to longevity. I always go back to "there's a reason he wasn't a first ballot HOF-er, despite all his 'stats'..." -
they fined him the max amount. It's all they can do. The exchange caught on the live mic is inadmissible according to NHL rules.

happy for the ladies to have a platform, and to have representation for all the young girls who grow up loving hockey and want a chance to pursue it as a career. Whether it's playing the game, broadcasting, management... whatever it might be, it's fantastic for girls to see they have opportunities in the game they love.

Damon Allen is probably the most overrated QB in CFL history. -
So apparently the new Corus Country station that replaced Peggy.... Mornings are syndicated from Edmonton, Midday and Afternoons from Calgary. Nothing out of Winnipeg so far, is my understanding. Will be very generic on air content, I suppose.

He's still learning... I have faith. If Damon Allen can be "something", what I've seen from Tre Ford tells me he can be at least that. -
It's good... Winnipeggers the Skene family (dad Rick is a long time stunt man for Canadian Hollywood productions, now the sons are in the business) are working on both Letterkenny and Shoresy... Did the hockey choreography on LK and are now directing full episodes of Shoresy.

Game 33 : Original 6.4 - Chicago
Noeller replied to FrostyWinnipeg's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
He's a one trick pony but it's a hell of a trick. As you mentioned, you have to keep him from being able to release clean shots. Now sometimes that's easier said than done, but I agree the Jets didn't do enough to take him outta the game. He's all they've got... That's the ONE GUY you have to make sure doesn't get loose. -

Not goalied... Hate how often that gets tossed around. They couldn't finish and hit too many posts. Against a team as bad as Chicago, you need more offense... Top line didn't do enough offensively. -

There was a funny vid going around the other day of a kids minor hockey game. Kid tried the lacrosse goal and didn't get it and the tendy wound up and absolutely SWATTED him one with the stick. They were like 10 years old so it was really funny. -

I think every kid who tries it deserves to get a stick or punch to the face.... -

I still think Ford can figure it out. I have faith. -
Thoughts on the final season of Letterkenny?

They found BLM... Who else did they find, and who did they develop....? -
It's a tough situation now for sure. The best point raised in this article was in a Homan quote where she said it's difficult to get enough funding for as many teams as Canada has. That's the key point. Other countries have one team... Maybe two. So all the funding goes to them and this is their full time job, paid by the government. We have a number of teams and all with limited funds. Some still work full time jobs and just practice around that. It's a lot tougher to be at the same level as the EurAsian teams that eat, sleep and breathe curling with their same team 24/7/365.

Good for Thomas Milic getting the call to the Spengler. Still have hope he'll be an NHL goaltender for the Jets one day...
