honest to God, knowing what we know now about Gray being a Riders guy, I'll be legit mad if we waste one of our first 2 picks on him. Even the 15 is debatable to me.....the whole "he's the next Walby" thing was very misplaced, unfortunately.

If Judge is MOS Jr, and really....it's not a stretch......I don't know how the Bombers don't try and take him with one of the first 2 picks...

There's a lotta truth in here. Best thing we can all do is keep things positive. I think we've all seen enough negativity in our life...on a personal weight loss journey, it's FAR more advantageous to keep things positive and upbeat. Everyone find their own path, don't knock someone else's, and celebrate everyone's successes....

Trade the 1 to go a hair lower.....take Judge within the Top 5........??

are you ******* kidding me.......? This is the first I heard of Gray being a Riders guy.....my enthusiasm for him just dropped HUGE. Wow....there are few things in the world I detest more than people who are "Riders fans" for no real reason...

It's partly the pills, and it's partly the lack of accountability. They make you come in there every day to get checked on. They'll phone you if you don't come for your weigh in. A big part of my success was the accountability, for sure. Without that, you lose your focus and it's really easy to gain it all back.

Ovi would likely do better being "Kessel-ed".....don't have to be the star, just be a contributor. But, as mentioned, he'd likely have to take a cut...

I once did Herbal Magic as a promotional gimmick through my work, and I dropped 30lbs with them (but gained it all back after I stopped taking the pills) and while I did enjoy my time on the program, one of the problems was that they condition you to the scale. You weigh in every day for the first 3 months, then the next 9, I weighed in once a week. They condition you to celebrate the scale number....I got SO mentally conditioned to it, it still bothers me when I'm on a program. I get SO upset by a gain of 0.2 or something silly like that....it's brutal.

Basically, he's supposed to be one of the only guys in the draft who is "pro ready" and can contribute on day 1. Having said that, there's questions about his desire and love of the game...

...and if you like being/working in Winnipeg, those are really rare....so yeah, he's not wrong to sit and wait, if he can.

yeah, the whole thing just seems asinine to me...I don't think I've ever left an arena in the middle of a game or concert. You go take a piss during the intermission, maybe grab a drink or some merch, and then back to your seat.

I'm not-so-patiently waiting to see what happens with Will Forte's mostly-fantastic Last Man On Earth. Last word was they were very close to getting the axe, and he was on Twitter basically begging people to watch...

I'm more of a music guy, but I can do (and have done, on a small scale) Sports and News...it just hasn't been my primary objective the last 15 years. I host Election Coverage events (huge Poli-junkie) and can host round-table format sports talk. Essentially what Huss does for H+L, I can do, and have done on a smaller scale.... As for Penton not being like Lawless...maybe that's a good thing? Here's the thing about doing that gig....you're not trying to directly replace GL, 'cause that's a fool's errand. Whoever comes in next has to be their own person and bring their own style. And if it *IS* Penton, who's to say he's not capable of being a little more "bold" in his opinions? We've only ever really heard him on buttoned-down CJOB, right? Maybe if you put him on TSN and give him free reign to be a bit more opinionated, then he lets loose a bit....

I dunno....my Twitter is exploding with Jets "fans" losing their **** over this. Huge fallout over it.....TNSE is hearing about it, trust me...

Just an FYI: NHL announces the start time for the Oilers/Ducks G5 will go directly opposite the CFL Draft at 5pm Sunday. F*** you, NHL....I'm not sure how, but I'm sure it's Bettman's fault...
