  4. It really sounds like you guys are talking about the personification of the MBB chat room this past Saturday...........
  5. Ryan Smith is a veteran?
  6. A lot of you are talking like the game was out of reach. That game was winnable till the very end. We were only ever a couple scores down.
  7. Did he teach you all about taking credit for all good things, but throwing everyone else under the bus when bad things happen to you? That's about the only thing I'd trust his advice on...
  8. I think, as a coach, you have to let your starter try and work himself out of a funk. Sure, there might come a time where you think he's just not going to do it, and you make the switch, but I think you have to give the guy every opportunity to figure it out on his own.
  9. they will absolutely get the football version of a "bag skate", this week....it's earned, and I guarantee the leadership group knows it and will make sure it never happens again.
  10. I ******* hate that guy so much....
  11. If Nichols doesn't throw that initial pick amd we end up with a TD, the game ends entirely differently. Momentum is a funny thing. . .
  12. I don't think anyone would confuse this team for the Stampeders current roster. It's a work in progress, no question. But it's a start....and something to build off of. When they are playing like they can, this team can run with anyone in the league. The difference between a team like ours and a team like the Stamps? They are consistently good...and even when they're at their worst, they're still pretty good. When we're at our worst, we can lose to anyone. When we're at our best, we can beat anyone.
  13. It was one game....the players were coming off the bye week and clearly didn't have their heads in it from the start. If they come out similarly next week and do the same thing, THEN maybe we've got a problem, but I just don't see it happening. They're going to be ANGRY next week...
  14. He's been out for weeks...dont give him that satisfaction...
  15. I'm probably Darvin Adams biggest detractor , but I thought he was our best player on O today. . . Maybe tied with Harris.
  16. Just a complete 180 around these parts, on so many fronts...
  17. Darvin Adams and Andrew Harris were great today when not a lot of others were. Deserving of praise...
  18. This game was 100% about heads up asses. I would say 0 chance they play like this next week.
  19. The positive is we got a shitty game outta the way. Heads outta asses, pound Ottawa next week, and go into playoffs rolling.
  20. an all around pants-pooping today....what can you do?
  21. American broadcasting (ESPECIALLY Sports broadcasting) is just awful. Everybody's gotta be the centre of attention. Everybody's gotta be the star of the show. American viewers need a hook...a gimmick....because apparently the sports themselves aren't entertaining enough. I have never understood Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole, and they're the epitome of American sports broadcasting...
  22. R-E-I-N-E-B-O-L-D
  23. We were due for a letdown game...whatever. Get this outta the system. Come back hard next week...
  24. I have no interest in the Stamps losing anything for a few weeks yet. If some valuable players wanted to go down and th minor injuries that force them to miss a month or so. . . . That'd be alright tho...
  25. I use the Corus Radio app...
