  1. 63 and 85, imo, are still the best to have ever played their respective positions, in this league......
  2. He did -- you're right! I totally spaced on that...but I believe 6, 63, and 85 remain untouched...
  3. they played great small ball in that final series against Boston, but other than Donaldson, nobody's hitting hard n low consistently...
  4. Can't really retire numbers in football, because there are so few, but there are a couple that are "unwritten rules"....97, 85, 6, 63.......to name a few........
  5. Thomas subs in on Jumbo sets, I believe, as a TE....sometimes rolling out as a passing option...
  6. Yeah, that happened awhile back....was really difficult on account of the TV networks and such, but they got it done.
  7. Sellers got busted for drugs in his locker....that one I remember....was the only reason a guy like that would ever be in the CFL. He was too good for this game.
  8. Lotta guys who could've been named in this spot, but Doug Brown's the best DT to ever play the 3 Down Game, so I got no problems with this. Congrats, Big Bird!!
  9. Can't beat the bullpen, you're likely toast. So funny how the bats can just go ice cold like that after being so active the last couple weeks...
  10. Ed Tait ‏@EdTaitWFC 3m3 minutes ago Taylor Loffler of the #Bombers named one of the CFL's Top Performers for Week 17, along with Henry Burris and Joe McKnight
  11. Boston is not a good team at all. Tough one for the Jets. Outplayed em bad in the second but didn't get anything to go. And then give one up with under a minute left in the period... Ugh.
  12. You guys can kick the **** outta all the teams you want the rest of this year, so long as you go back to being a giant smelly turd that's the laughing stock of the entire league next spring/summer/fall....
  13. I'm the proudest Manitoban there is....trust me......but it baffles me how people will not pay retail price for things. I just don't understand. An event like the Heritage Classic, or the Grey Cup, are just things you have to be a part of, when you get the chance, because they're so rare.
  14. Yeah...i was trying to remember the Lions/Esks record, and the Lions haven't beaten anyone in the West, so the Lions would need at least a split with the Esks. Right now, they're in "danger" of crossing over and having to play the powerhouse East..................................................
  15. Esks would host...Lions would cross over....I believe.
  16. Incredibly jealous...if I was able to get time off work, I woulda come just to take in the atmosphere all weekend. Going to be something you remember forever...
  17. There was never a doubt that there'd be issues selling tickets. Winnipeg (Manitoba??) is very cheap and doesn't see the "value" in a once-in-a-lifetime event like this. Will sit back and try to get free tickets, but won't drop the big money to be a part of it.
  18. Umps are not to blame for that God-awful RISP BA......Blech.
  19. Don't want Carter anywhere near this team, don't care how good he is......
  20. Leave it as is....we'll start anew. I might not make it through the day if this place is down...
  21. Scott Billeck ‏@ScottBilleck 1m1 minute ago Eskimos fined $20,000, HC Jason Maas fined $15,000 for not wearing mics last weekend. Suspensions loom if it happens again.
  22. WPG Blue BombersVerified account‏@Wpg_BlueBombers Fun fact of the day: @Kohlert2 has a QB rating of 287.5, has completed 100% of his passes and has 1 TD. #TheMoreYouKnow
  23. that's a half truth!
  24. I have 2 different Manitoba ones...the current one, and the one we used prior to that (my grandfather carried it with him all through WW2) because I am *that* intensely proud of being from MB. Also, f*** Alberta, so I rage Manitoba everywhere I go here...
  25. Not ONCE, not EVER..............
