  1. To believe this, is to completely misunderstand how good Andrew Harris is, and how important he's been to winning this year...
  2. lots of talk comparing this current win streak to 2001......as we discuss whether MOS needs to win to save his job, it's interesting to note that in 2001, Dave Ritchie did literally need to win to save his job, because they had a clause in the contract whereby he needed to win X number of games over 1999-2001. The 14 wins that year just got him over the number needed to auto-extend his contract.....
  3. Twitter says Gudino takes the extra Rec spot, but not sure who'd take the roster spot of McDuffie...possibly Heath? Maybe Fogg returns kicks full time and Heath plays HB?
  4. fwiw, apparently Heath was taking 1st team reps at HB today, but not sure who it was in place of...
  5. Scott Billeck ‏@ScottBilleck 2h2 hours ago T.J. Heath getting first-team reps at halfback. #Bombers #CFL
  6. You're sure you didn't mean to type Bo Levi Mitchell, eh?
  7. Harris in street clothes...not practicing today.
  8. Can a 6'6'" 230lbs receiver who's not in the NFL catch? That is an important question...
  9. it's interesting that his is the only age that's not listed in the presser....
  10. ....a 6'6" 220lbs receiver named Outlaw............
  11. I started thinking about it several months ago, but every week I get closer and closer to getting a MOS Bombers jersey......
  12. Love it...any pro sports championship is a great one for the province of Manitoba. Go Fish Go!
  13. If we were healthy, I might agree with you....
  14. From Bob Irving: "Mike oshea tells his CJOB radio show Andrew Harris and quincy mcduffie are questionable vs calg., gerrard sheppard out for a few weeks"
  15. That young BC kicker off the post with no time left. A sphincter-clencher, if ever there was one....
  16. No no, I actually was back then! Now I just freelance to keep things running smoothly!
  17. Convo going in the Around The League Discussion thread
  18. As important as the winning is, it's the culture change that's most important to me. Obviously we're not within the walls, but the things we've all read about how the club is operating now, and the respect it's generating from players, agents and management from both leagues, is a really big deal. The WBB FC name was so tarnished before, there's been a LOT of polishing done to get it where it is now. Only a championship will bring it all the way back, but it sure feels like we're at least on the way now...
  19. Yes he did, but he had a contract issue with Montreal....in so much as he was still under contract to Montreal, and they would not let him go to another team.....so he had to stay. Seems to me it was quite acrimonious at the time, but this would be the final year of his contract, I believe, so he'll definitely be looking to get out after this season.
  20. yep...was a contract issue....but he'd be a coaching "FA" this off-season, I believe.
  21. was some talk on Twitter recently that Thorpe might be tired of the gong show and look to leave for greener pastures as soon as the season is (mercifully?) over...
  22. *could HAVE..........and Noel Thorpe was the consensus pick....(with some talk of Calvillo or Kavis)
  23. I got no problems with the dink n dunk offence if it's eating up 7 minutes off the clock per drive...
  24. Medlock is American.......... M*V*P is a toss up between Bond and Medlock, IMO......
  25. Well, I believe he's very green still....in most aspects of being a HC........so while I agree there's been a lot of mistakes made, I'm at least willing to chalk that up to inexperience. I'm a big believer that our biggest reason for turnaround this year is the 3 IMP OL, so I "fault" The Trinity for taking so long to realize that this would make a huge difference. Stubbornly sticking to Neufeld in there to try and force the ratio a certain way.....
