  1. well Messam has been dynamite for me in this, but he's sitting this week, so let's go with Chris Williams...
  2. I ******* hate nerds so much....
  3. Absolutely had to be. Even Walby said he felt kind of embarrassed going in before KP11.....
  4. again, tho, compared to late 90s-2005, and 2009-now.........it was a real good OL.
  5. Ignore that last post... The mobile version was being weird and not letting me post properly. Couple things in response to this thread... That Berry-era OL was awesome and made better by Glenn quick release attack. Also, having said all that, I would really love to go back and watch some games from 07. Man that was a special team...
  6. I was just going to ask you why the **** you were posting that over here....
  7. nah, it's gotta be everyone loses...has to be.....'cause this is all about "Pick The Winner" and nobody did in that game.
  8. Bombers OL during Mike Sellers time, specifically, was so bad, it shortened Khari Jones' career by close to a decade. He took a worse beating than just about any QB that I've ever seen. The only respectable OL we had between Walby's era till now (still bad) is the Doug Berry years, with Gauthier, Picard and Khan....that was a good OL....and the only one we've had in about 20 years.
  9. I get that you're on the payroll over there on Pembina, and that's cool...I'd be totally on board, too. I can imagine the "Us Against Them" mentality and it'd be a real driver. As someone who "gets it" and someone who's also a fan listening from afar, it's just not even a comparable broadcast. Bob + Ed Tait + Doug Brown = CFL Radio Broadcast Perfection. It's everything TSN should be striving for, and I have no doubt they are! Bob's going to retire as soon as this contract is up, and then TSN will buy the rights and try to find someone to take over PBP (I honestly don't believe anyone in town currently that is able to take over right now) and it'll suck for a couple years, but they'll eventually get it...time moves on and people will come to enjoy *that* broadcast, as a whole new generation makes it theirs.
  10. Wait...do you think Walby played with Blink and Sellers?
  11. Why would you be happy with that?
  12. I vote everyone loses on that.
  13. I don't mean "MOS Is The Man", I just mean "here's some insight into who he is as a man" http://www.bluebombers.com/2016/07/08/blog-resiliency/
  14. This game is so painful. I despise everything to do with Calgary sports, but the whole disgusting #RBNation thing makes me want to punch babies. Can they both lose and have players injured??
  15. If you mean that they were such a gigantic bag of **** that it was beautiful to watch Charlie and Mike run wild in spite of them.....then yes, absolutely......
  16. I wouldn't say he asks harder questions, per se, but he can ask questions that require more knowledge to answer because he's been there...
  17. I caught that........here's the thing. Those guys played against each other in some really intense battles over the years. I would say there's a healthy respect, but guaranteed they don't exactly *love* each other. Now, having said that, what I got out of that comment last night was "Doug, you of all people should know better...it's only 2 losses...."
  18. Soooooo.....sign and trade?
  19. My entire life is based around reliving past glories......
  20. that was a great bit of audio...DB97 asking him about what he saw in film study this week from Pete Dyakowski that allowed him to target the big man all night...
  21. There's a lotta great moments that weren't on TV. Westwood nailing a 55 yarder to win in 2003 wasn't on TV....maybe most criminally is Dunigan's 713, which has NO video footage anywhere. It straight up doesn't exist...
  22. that's the infamous Arland Bruce 4 TDs game........definitely have that one and watch semi-regularly. Actually watched it when we were home for Grey Cup in the fall...
  23. Don't forget the bump he took, managed to stay balanced, and then get into the endzone.....it was ridiculous from start to finish.
  24. After the disgusting performance at McMahon last week, a bunch of us were drinking at my place last Sunday and we fired up a 2004 (?) game where we kicked the **** out of Barker, Crandell and the rest of those horse-f***ers..it was like 50-15 or something nasty like that. Really washed the taste out of my mouth.....
