Is Mike actually top of the WCT this year? I know he's like 6th or something on the CTRS Order of Merit......I thought they were having a shitty tour season this year...? Hmmm....cause Carruthers has been the top Manitoba-based team all season.

And yet this has been one of the funniest seasons in recent memory.

Far and away (by miles and miles) the biggest show on TV....rumours about Cuoco were false.....cast is so tight, they took pay cuts to give other ones a raise. Extension for 2 more years coming shortly, according to Variety and other sources...

I'm going to give it a chance, because it'll be the same producers, and Parsons himself is going to be involved, as a "narrator" (think Saget in HIMYM) and an EP. I think he cares about the legacy of the character and wants to do it justice. Spinoffs rarely work, but I'm willing to give it a chance.

In the sake of fairness, it needs to be posted that Dave has an irrational hatred of Mike McEwen because of an incident between them at the Brandon University curling playdowns, about 15 years ago.......everything he says about MM must be taken with a bit of a grain of salt...

My first Jets game in Winnipeg since about 1994....as both a Jets and Oilers fan, I would sincerely love a win here, Jets. I refuse to believe this recent fLames heater is for real. They're not even close to being that good...and certainly not their goaltending. Jets should be able to win this, if they can keep the puck outta their own end...

Koe MIGHT be a Top 10 team in the world.....but I'd be generous on that. If you're accounting teams like Murdoch and Edin, then it's a tough list to crack. Koe's team is old and fading quickly, with just one example being Benny Hebert's wonky knee this week. And who do they get to replace him? ******* Scott Pfifer, who's like 90 by now..... The list looks something like this: Jacobs Gushue McEwen Carruthers Edin Epping Laycock Koe Murdoch Cotter/Menard/Dunstone/etc...

Crapped their pants through the first 5 ends again.....they were able to scramble back vs NB, but you're not going to pull out a win with that kind of performance against a semi-legit team...

Lost to moron Morris yesterday....6-1 on the bonspiel, so far.

-Koe massively overrated...not as good, IMO, as Jacobs, McEwen and (sometimes) Douchue. -On any given day, one of Jacobs, Douchue and McEwen can and should win this event -Douchue has won exactly 0 Briers, for all the free trips he's been given to the event. Only real thing he's ever won is Oly Trials, and that was with Russ Howard holding his hand and continually talking him out of stupid ****. There is a really legitimate chance he doesn't even make playoffs in his hometown Brier...unreal. -I'm hoping the final is Mike vs The Juice Monkeys, but we'll see how the week plays out. McEwen's team played like **** for 5 ends this morning and pulled one outta their ass because it was New Brunswick...anyone else, and that'd be over in 8. -Glennard was done 5 years ago...it's just sad watching the poor bastard out there now. Shoulda been Epping repping Ontario...

I just think NI Rec is kind of a no man's zone in our offense and unless the guy you take is absolutely better than the IMP's you already have, it might be a waste of a pick.....
