I'm the proudest Manitoban there is....trust me......but it baffles me how people will not pay retail price for things. I just don't understand. An event like the Heritage Classic, or the Grey Cup, are just things you have to be a part of, when you get the chance, because they're so rare.

Yeah...i was trying to remember the Lions/Esks record, and the Lions haven't beaten anyone in the West, so the Lions would need at least a split with the Esks. Right now, they're in "danger" of crossing over and having to play the powerhouse East..................................................

Esks would host...Lions would cross over....I believe.

There was never a doubt that there'd be issues selling tickets. Winnipeg (Manitoba??) is very cheap and doesn't see the "value" in a once-in-a-lifetime event like this. Will sit back and try to get free tickets, but won't drop the big money to be a part of it.

I have 2 different Manitoba ones...the current one, and the one we used prior to that (my grandfather carried it with him all through WW2) because I am *that* intensely proud of being from MB. Also, f*** Alberta, so I rage Manitoba everywhere I go here...

I play floor hockey every week with a bunch of old boys who've been doing fantasy drafts since the late 70s, and they tell tales of how Gretzky was broken into 2 draftable players: Gretzky Goals and Gretzky Assists. We talked this week about how McJesus isn't far from that....could happen again one day....

McJesus went 8th overall in our draft to Dave and he was belligerent that anybody would let him go that late...
