I think the last thing someone posted was that he didn't really want to play anymore. Based on his social media or seemed like he was pretty heartbroken about how things were going and he just wasn't into continuing. But who knows right now...

The only thing I've seen anywhere on the internet even remotely connecting Schoen to Riders is a CFL.ca article suggesting that they might take a run at him, with no evidence to suggest why other than "Schoen good, Riders should buy"... So all of this seems like premature hand wringing at best...

Dom Wooganowski.... Not getting to play in the home GC. That's definitely a surprise. I remember a quote from him saying that if he's not playing in Winnipeg, he doesn't want to play at all. We'll see if that holds true. Also agree that no Woogie likely means no Strev.

I'm not likely to spend much time in this thread but did notice that ZC8 is in the house for the Chiefs game today. I've always felt like our current run of dominance in the CFL West follows the Chiefs current run in the NFL. Hopefully we can figure out how to win like they do in so many big games.

Bighill was told in December that he's free to talk to other teams.

He's 23 years old for Christ's sake.... He's just a baby. Give him time...

He was released in December... That's plenty early to me. The only thing you could POSSIBLY say against the Bombers here is that they didn't do a big public hurrah in December... But maybe Bighill didn't want that? Who's to say... But they talked to him shortly after the season ended and told him he wouldn't be back.
