The transformation of Ed Nigma has been fun to watch as well.

We definitely have our favourites (Tool Shed People Skills, Village Triplet, Olds College Hay City have been in regular rotation lately and Grizzly Paw Grumpy Bear and Rutting Elk are always a consideration) but it's good to find new stuff. We go to Calgary Beer Fest every year (the gf and I were asked to be judges in 2016...should be fun!) so of you guys have a chance to go to Flatlander Beer Fest in YWG, do it! Best place to learn!

This one is the most intriguing one for me... what does he mean by "gets the opportunity"... Does he know that Brady will be let go at season's end?... what's wrong with his current opportunity? Try as many Canadian micro-brews as possible. There's a ton of great ones. We're fantastically spoiled in Alberta with a lotta good stuff. Grizzly Paw, Tool Shed, Village, Wild Rose, Alley Kat, Big Rock....and more that I'm sure I'm forgetting. Also, for all you craft beer junkies....grab the "Untapped" app for your phone and do a check in every time you try something. I know Raydawg is on there...and I think 17to85 as well. A good way to find out what's out there and what other people thought of it, then give your own 2 cents...

Agreed. The girlfriend has a tough time with some of the graphic violence in this. It can definitely be dark sometimes. Have been a big Donal Logue (Bullock) fan since his arc started on Law and Order: SVU and Ben McKenzie since the OC days. Both really great actors. The kid playing Cobblepot should be getting Emmy nom's....he's been outstanding from Day 1.

Depends on who all was available. If that was our choice from options that included George Cortez, Dave Dickenson and Kent Austin.....I'd be disappointed. If that's our choice from a much more limited selection? I'll be good with it and have visions of 2002 mixed with 2010 offenses.....

You were right the first time -- it's not "ideally how you do it"....Ideally you use Americans on the line to protect your best asset, and then use your Canadians elsewhere.

Did anyone even remotely think of Marcus Brady as an option before Mike mentioned it? Now that's the de facto #1 choice? Hmmm. Dunno about that one. But I'm curious to see what all is out there. Could be some wheelin' and dealin' during GC Week.

If our O had progressed like the D did this season, as it went along, we would've been outstanding by the final third of the year. Took the D awhile to get going but once they did, they looked good. As mentioned, just spent way too much time on the field.

No to Lapo. If Brady is the guy you want, you back the dump truck up to his door amd make the decision easy.

Came to realize there's a massive drop off after Drew Willy. Offense showed great things under Willy other times (Calgary) as well.

This. Find a top notch guy with good CFL experience and then it's just about keeping people healthy and grabbing a few additions.

I pray we don't hear anything (key: HEAR ANYTHING) till the new year. Do your due diligence and once you know who all is available, then make your move. But honestly, there's a part of me that wants them to not make ANY move, keep all in tact, and go 14-4 next year and then hand out a giant bag of **** you's to a whole pile of you....
