Interesting note, it was 20 years prior to this blizzard that they had the monster Blizzard of '66. I follow Burton Cummings on FB/Twitter, and he posts some interesting old pics, and just recently posted a pic of the 1966 blizzard. That one was just nuts. Snow drifts as high as the hydro poles. I was only 6 for the '86 blizzard, so it's a bit fuzzy, but the '97 one in Jan '97...that one I remember well. Was snowed in at my grandparents condo on Corydon for a couple days. Remember trying to walk to the Mac's on the corner to grab a magazine with my cousin, and the drifts just being massive. Remember cars being completely ditched in the middle of Corydon.

That's just not possible....he sucks and everybody around here knows it. ******* terrible. Cut him yesterday! Dave Ridgway had field goal percentages of 62.9, 66.7, and 60.5 from 1983-1985. Pretty sure he turned out okay... Liu Passaglia had field goal percentages of 57.1, 67.4, 67.5, 64.1, and 63.8 in 1976, 1980, 1981, 1990, and 1999 respectively. Pretty sure he wasn't too bad either over the duration of his career. I swear people just like to whine and make noise just for the sake of doing so, without considering that MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, players in sports will occasionally have a bad year from time to time, and that it is not a reflection on their overall capabilities. The key is riding the middle......it's never that bad, and it's never that good......it just "is". Another note, tho, is that "piling on" accomplishes nothing.

They shouldn't have made a big deal about the parity before hand and just gone ahead and done it. People got worked up because you made a point of saying "this is all about parity! Look how progressive we are!" If you'd just made your selections and not made a point about the parity, and just said "these were the most qualified people, period..." then this would all be a moo point.

Each to his own. I live in Calgary too but I can't cheer for the stamps. Or the flames. Just bought seasons for the Roughnecks though. Pumped for that season. Living in Flames country is a big reason why I cheer for the Oilers...

And yet there are people on this forum who opined that he was a bust or that he'd only be effective in limited snaps .. In case you're new here, there's a lot of morons around here...
