Pretty sure he turned out okay... Liu Passaglia had field goal percentages of 57.1, 67.4, 67.5, 64.1, and 63.8 in 1976, 1980, 1981, 1990, and 1999 respectively. Pretty sure he wasn't too bad either over the duration of his career. They shouldn't have made a big deal about the parity before hand and just gone ahead and done it. People got worked up because you made a point of saying "this is all about parity! Look how progressive we are!" If you'd just made your selections and not made a point about the parity, and just said "these were the most qualified people, period..." then this would all be a moo point.
