hey DoD -- long time reader, first time caller.....question for you..............I assume you jot notes as the game goes. Do you edit the early notes, after the game is done? I feel like sometimes the early parts of Odds n Sods is affected by what happens later? Is that fair? Or is this pure, stream-of-consciousness writing? Great stuff, as always, my friend...one of the best CFL forum reads anywhere.

I actually snorted and shook my head as I see wbbfan trying to keep up with Mike....Christ......you kids, sometimes, I swear.....

The story as I remember it from then is that when Mulumba was drafted, he was seen as TCF for the NFL and would absolutely be back. Mack had a buddy on that team (Mack had/has friends everywhere in the NFL/NCAA) who said "We like the guy, but we're really not expecting a whole lot...don't worry..." so Mack said "Hey, we wish him the best of luck down there, but we expect him to be in camp with us at some point..." and then he just went down there and absolutely lit it up in NFL TC and earned a spot, then kept on rolling from there.....

I just feel like all these "all female cast!!" movies are trying to hard to make some kind of political statement about how women can do things just as well as man, instead of concentrating on trying to make a good movie. I don't care who the hell is in the cast, so long as they're talented and the movie is top notch. By worrying about the sexism, etc., they're completely missing the point and wasting everyone's time.

Thomas absolutely played at one point...didn't start at OL, but he came in after injury...

that's more fair....I can live with that......tho I'd say last week's first half would disprove the statement.

also curious about some of the PA violations like extended practice times, etc....that had been mentioned....but haven't been commented on by the league yet.

Both these teams are just awful. For both the Bombers and my fantaseh team, I'd like a Als win and some big offensively points from Glenn and Lewis...

Only *real* concern for me is Foketi apparently playing RT for the first time ever. Is a long time natural LT, so he says he's gotta reverse everything...kinda like a right-handed person trying to write with their left......or vice versa. Hopefully not a huge issue...'cause I like Bond back at Guard.

Apparently the rumour is he wanted Tyson Barrie out real bad, Sakic said no, so Roy said "**** it, I'm out..."
