Why on earth would the Bombers want Grigsby??

Don't brag to me about how people from Sask are morons.....I've said for years that Gappers aren't really football fans. They just show up at the games because it's trendy. They don't even really know if the team is winning or losing or what's going on...."I'm from Saskatchewan! I'm a Rider fan!! That's still a cool thing, right??" I've said for years that the vast majority of people who claim to be "fans" in Saskatchewan are among the least knowledgeable of fan-bases across the league. We may have slightly lower overall numbers, but I guarantee we have the most knowledgeable, "football-savvy" fan base in the league...

Bryant is not "regaining" anything, except maybe competent teammates. He's been anchoring a real crew full of **** for a long time now. Felt bad for the guy till now.

I'm curious how many of these "new" guys were being recruited 3 years ago and just came north this year. Sometimes it takes awhile to get guys to want to come up.

Part of me says that two of the games were vs young QBs who were prone to big mistakes. But a bigger part of me says "the only thing that matters is that it's 3 wins in a row, and nothing can change that, so just enjoy it as long as it lasts..." I don't give a **** if it's real or whatever....there's been 3 wins, and could be a good chance to tack on a few more when we come back from break. Here's hoping....

Only way it's on Goossen is of he snapped early for some reason. Cause the snap itself was great...

First thing I noticed that I didn't last night..... People talking about a pooched snap by Goossen that was redone after offside by TO, was actually a perfect snap. Harris jumped before the snap, ran in front of Nichols, and had it bounce off him...

Rewatching last night on the pvr now... Still a lot of fun.... Even through sober eyes.....

re: Nichols.........I actually thought last night was a perfect example of why you have to leave guys in to work through their struggles and not be so quick to yank. Started out rough, but he got it figured out. Sometimes a guy just needs time to work through it...every game, every opponent, is different.

My thought process was "Oh thank Christ we go into bye on a win, so at least we have a bonus week for the boards to not go to **** with people bitching over stupid **** and calling for The Trinity's heads on a platter..." ...But I see your point, too......

hey DoD -- long time reader, first time caller.....question for you..............I assume you jot notes as the game goes. Do you edit the early notes, after the game is done? I feel like sometimes the early parts of Odds n Sods is affected by what happens later? Is that fair? Or is this pure, stream-of-consciousness writing? Great stuff, as always, my friend...one of the best CFL forum reads anywhere.
