It's news because Stephen Harper wants it to be. He preys on dumb voters...I agree, but I would use the word ignorant. You are one hundred percent correct. Ignorant is the perfect word. It's the same people who voted Con because of the reduction in GST. Ugh.

Calgary is going to kick the ever living crap outta Ham tonight... -
Pretty much the only true thing you've said in unnecessary back-to-back posts....
-
Sure we are, but you would have to spread that over two or three seasons. We'd be BETTER than a 10-win team if Willy stayed healthy all year...I firmly believe that.

If Hedley is the best they can do, I'd just as soon give it to Doc Walker. Regardless of popularity, they're a far better band...

funny thing: According to Stamps media, BLM isn't the consensus choice for the Stamps right now, because of the season Eric Rogers is having. He's their MOP right now... -
What should he do? Congress wouldn't even pass a ban on assault weapons. Why does anybody need an assault rifle? I read a great line on twitter: "In retrospect Sandy Hook marked the end of the US gun control debate. Once America decided killing children was bearable, it was over." that tweet's been going around for awhile, and I re-tweeted it yesterday...it's basically perfect, in the saddest way possible.

Your half time headliner has to be someone big...gotta be a "name" that non-football fans will tune in for. Like it or not, scoring Bieber a few years ago was a major coups for the league.

America has a problem that contributes to several other problems and that's the nature of their politics make their politicians gutless. The gun lobby are a bunch of morons hiding like cowards behind the constitution but they have enough puppets on congress to ensure no real gun control ever gets passed. The sad thing is, these mass shootings happen to the innocent. Just let one mass shooting happen at an NRA meeting. Oh but it would never happen because the tough NRA crowd would shoot back. Sure they would. Uh huh. Seeing people fawning over Obama's outrage is hilarious. Dont tell us you're angry. Again. Do something. As a staunch conservative, I thought you'd be pro-guns, as the Canadian con's are...

It's less about guns and more about making sure mentally ill people can't have access to them. But, bottom line, America has a really big problem....

I assume "Manitoban" is in quotes because Fort Garry is no longer locally owned... and Farmery isn't made in Manitoba... I guess I just assumed it was made in Manitoba since the farm is near Neepawa... I thoroughly enjoy all three of these beers... just picked up a case of St James pale ale for the most recent Sunday night football... It will be soon. All the ingredients are grown there, and they just put the shovels in the ground for the brewery at Arden Hill recently. Hopefully they'll be able to expand to more than just a session lager...

and it's not like he's jumping to the Sun. It's not direct competition... -
Pretty much have to, with the Jets being there, too...wouldn't make sense any other way.
-
The Bombers were the ones who backed out on him! The Bombers saw the asking price and said "no thanks"...so they had their chance to sign him. It's not like he turned down their final offer after much negotiating. I mean, c'mon, this butt-hurt is getting ridiculous....
-
Yeah, McDavid at #37....some serious expectations for the kid.
-
Farmery WILL be made in MB soon...the brewery is under construction at Arden Hill, outside Neepawa, as we speak. For the time being, all the ingredients are grown here and brewed outta the Muskoka plant in ON.... Regardless...Half Pints and Ft Garry make some great brews, and Farmery is solid for an inoffensive sessionable beer.
-
Side note about Grey Cup Week: I'm a fan of the announcement that the 3 "Manitoban" craft brewers will be the official beer outside of the game itself, to which Labatt has exclusive rights. But all the socials and different events will feature Fort Garry, Half Pints and Farmery, which is only partly Manitoban. As a big craft beer junkie, this is fantastic news.

Funny thing: Picked up a copy of The Hockey News Fantasy Pool Guide for this year and immediately flipped to the Oilers page. They have a thing listing the Top 5 scorers for each team in the league, and they've predicted McDavid will lead the Oilers with 83pts this year. I said "wow, no pressure, kid..." Like, seriously...for **** sakes. Let's temper things a little bit here. With players like RNH and Hall (Eberle will miss the first couple months of the season after injuring a shoulder) and even Yakupov....they really think this kid is going to lead the team? I mean he's good.....but he's still just a kid.

Sure, why not. Whatever. WWE Network and Wrestlemania

As an aside, just saw that Jonathan "The Coach" Coachman is now an anchor on ESPN Sports Center. Had no idea...still comes across as a ******, tho... -
Rogers never let them spend the money before this year. They opened the piggy bank, and voila....competitive team.
-
I think I saw a tweet yesterday saying that it's in about 2 weeks...

When you know the kind of personality Henoc is...the charity stuff he does...work with AIA and other Christian organizations.....you can't possibly hate on the guy.
-
Overall stats don't show the progress he's made from beginning to now. The guy has been pretty darn good the last several weeks...
