  1. Bluto's posts in this thread are making the most sense. As much as I dislike Barker, he's not stupid enough to deal a "back-up" of that calibre when you're trying to win it all this year...
  2. Lol...the one thing they do that makes them money. Ya...lets get rid of it....
  3. I completely agree with your first statement. Regina didn't let Willy walk.Willy was our 3rd choice. We'd already tried and failed to get both Collaros and Burris. He's doing great. Nothing the matter with him being our 3rd choice. Funny that you can see when others massage the facts, but you can't see it in yourself. The order the QBs came on the market doesn't mean he was third choice - it means he was the third available. There were a number of reports before any of the QBs were available that the Bombers were very high on Willy. For the billionth time on this forum, they were always going to bring in Willy, but they were also trying to bring in one of the other guys. If Burris came, it was gonna be Burris with Willy as back up last year. That's been in the paper a lot. McManus was a huge DW fan and they were always going to bring him in no matter what.
  4. Yea here I am! But it was a good win,so y would I crap on them? You are the absolute worst kind of "fan"...
  5. That's not my Manitoba.....that's not even my Canada....
  6. Darwin Admas ... the rare double typo LOL. After last night, I was pretty much ERMAGHERD! DARWIN ADMAS!!!!!!! DERWIN! DERWERN ERDERMS!!11!
  7. Fabulous....just fabulous.....
  8. Darwin Admas ... the rare double typo LOL. After last night, I was pretty much ERMAGHERD! DARWIN ADMAS!!!!!!!
  9. and people who say that Gretz would get killed in today's NHL aren't giving enough credit to just how smart the guy was. That's the biggest thing...he's the smartest guy to ever play the game, bar none. He always found a way, and even in today's game, he'd find a way. Every time...
  10. If we have Willy in the game, we're always in it. Anyone who gave up after that opening drive can **** off...we don't need fans like that.
  11. If I never learn anything else in my life, I want to one day try and understand what your obsession is with posting pictures and GIFs on here....
  12. It is harder to get angry at a win than a loss. However, there is plenty to discuss about this game namely: 1. The fake punt when it was 3rd and 12; 2. the lack of pressure by the d-line; 3. O'Shea's lack of judgment when he challanged the pass to Denmark; 4.The lack of babes in the beer snake section; and 5. Poor pass protection/Willy holding onto the ball too long. I thought the game was done after the Lions started with the 9 minute td drive but full creit to Willy for inspiring this club to victory. The defence also got their act together and hopefully they can build on it and have gained some confidence. The fact is this is only one win but it is a significant win because it was at home, it wasa short week or prep, the team showed character and their qb showed the kind of tougness you don't see much these days in pro sports. If this was an NFL Monday night football game his 'heroics' would be discussed ad nasuem togetehr with a 30 minute NFL Films tribute. I feel like this sums you up pretty well...
  13. I'd settle for not giving up first downs simply because we're playing a VERY soft zone .. This line has always intrigued me. What would be a hard zone outside of playing man to man? Press man....
  14. that last Ham game is a complete wash for me because of what happens when Willy leaves the game to injury. That's not a good baseline.
  15. If we've learned anything this season, it's that we're never out of a game as long as DW is in there. If the OL keeps him upright, no question we can give Ham a run. **** Angry Kent Austin and that entire crew...let's even up that season series.....
  16. ...active....with the right people......for the most part....
  17. One thing worth mentioning: Both Adams and Washington's INTs were outstanding grabs. Those weren't gimme balls thrown right at them, by any stretch. Extremely impressive....
  18. Triple A Manitoba grown steak with Dauphin-area perogies, thank you very much.......this is the Canadian prairies...
  19. I've always said 0-18 is too good for that fan base. **** 'em....we'll worry about Edmonton later...
  20. YEAH YOU GUYS!!! Psshh...That was for Mr. Perfect. Anyone know where he is BTW? He was on my Twitter feed last night raving about DW...
  21. Was just going to post that the head first dives were to keep opponents from landing on his knee. It was intentional. I was screaming at Schultz for being a moron yet again when he was bitching about Willy not hook sliding....
  22. Loving life for another week. Just keep playing .500 or better....
  23. If they were close, no chance.....never. Above all else, I want a guy I know and trust can do the job...
  24. F***ing Corus....a real shame. And yet, through all of this, in my time in Alberta, I haven't seen them touch Country 105 with a ten foot pole. Other than the rotating crew of evening kids right outta SAIT/MR, they've had the same on air line up for a decade. Corus wouldn't dare touch that one...
