  1. If I can sit and watch TC, I'd gladly sit on some hay bales. Hell, some of the best times of my life have been sitting around on bales...
  2. Depends where he lines up eventually. If he has the size to play wideout then he'll most likely ever only play on one side of the field, reducing the number of routes on the tree by 50%. And it's not like every team uses a zillion different routes, I can't see him learning (or knowing) being that big of an issue. Just gives you an idea. Very cool...thanks for sharing!
  3. Crayston -- ACC Media Grad 2003 #Represent Thanks for the updates here...good stuff all around!
  4. The concerning thing about Richards, as someone posted on draft night, is that he can only run about 2 routes. He will have to learn something like 85% of the route tree still. I don't know enough about playing football professionally to know exactly how hard that is, but someone was saying on draft night that this kid is a bit of a one trick pony...
  5. Good ol' Coorsman Chad living about 10 minutes from the stadium, off Pembina, paying off....
  6. I've tried forever to find that picture of Joe Mack from the E-Camp a few years back where he was the only guy in a lawn chair parked right up front and centre while everyone else stood around like an *******, and can't find it, but anyhow....that's what I'm looking for. Gonna park that lawn chair and hopefully yell at some large gentlemen to tell them they're doggin' it out there and that they're too fat n slow.............
  7. Lawn chairs it is...better than nothin'. Let's do 'er up...
  8. Still no info from the club on what kind of attendance will be allowed, eh? Was hoping they'd have had something figured out by now. Gotta start making plans for next weekend...
  9. Glad I'm not the first person to say it. Who's Marcus Ball and is he related to Raphaol?
  10. I just always remember DB97 being 6'8 302 and he said he was way too fat and outta shape, so he had to trim to 290-ish, and was one of the most dominant DTs to ever play the game. Maybe some can get away with being that big...but we'll see...
  11. Almost seems too fat to play CFL DL...
  12. They don't officially retire any numbers, I don't think, but a bunch have been unofficially retired...97, 85, 06, 11, 63.......
  13. As if someone suggested #11...."apparently it's open".... Eesh.
  14. apparently he might not be even close to football shape. At one point ran a 4.61 40, but last clock was a 4.99. So Mike might be right on this one.
  15. I didn't realize till just this week, just how much better off Manitobans are for mobile options. My mom, bless her heart, is finally deciding she wants a smart phone. So she's asking me for advice, so I go to the MTS website to do some research. Well, holy Christ, the options!! Out here in the West, we get Bell and Telus jamming their bullshit in our face and it's "take it or leave it..." but MTS, you guys have a ton of options for data packages, amount of minutes you want, etc. What I really realized was that mom's gonna have a lot more "stuff" with her phone than I do, for less than I pay out here.
  16. In fairness, re: Poblah, Duane Forde said (at the time) that he was a 1st-Overall-Level pick.....
  17. Yakupov is a good hockey player that's going to bust out at some point. As much as I'd like to see it be with the Oilers, I think it'll be somewhere else. If people knew how bad that guy's career was ****** up/stunted by Dallas Eakins...
  18. If Drew Willy stays healthy for the year, we'll make playoffs. I will go that far out on the limb...
  19. Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming #Bombers have added 6'2" 210lb International DB Curtis Taylor, a 2009 7th-round pick of the San Francisco 49ers.
  20. For just Myers, I might gift you Yakupov, but there might have to be a trade of picks in there. Like a Jets 2nd for an Oilers 4th or something...
  21. This is really about fans of another team who don't follow the Oilers, but are hearing this myth about how the Oilers "have to trade one of the core guys in order to improve" and just believe it out of habit. It's not true, and people who follow the Oilers regularly know.
  22. Not cool bruh.. Not. Cool. Irony...
  23. Did Spuds get a different account?
  24. But, again, as Dave just said -- that's not true. They can get what they need without moving that core group. Sure, a guy like Yakupov might go, but none of those real "core" guys is going to get dealt unless there's an equally "untouchable" player coming back....
  25. Like the Leafs give a crap about anyone else, let alone the Argos. Considering the new owners of the Argos are also two of the owners of the Leafs, I would hope they care. It is crappy that the announcements were made the same day but I think the rumours that he had signed would have still bumped the Argos news. The Leafs thing wasn't really announced today. Rumours were swirling, so the giant ****** known as David Shoalts decided to completely derail the Argos presser by asking them Leiwicki about Babcock, and then everything spiraled outta control from there. The Leafs thing wasn't going to happen till tomorrow...
