  1. Ladd's been playing injured for awhile now, no question. Little is either still hurt, or is is very rusty. Apparently was caught up in that flu that a few guys had over the last road trip. Buff was classic Buff...you just have no clue when that guy, if ever, is going to decide he wants to play like he means it.
  2. After it was 2-1, we probably had 3 or 4 quality scoring chances that just as easily could have gone in. Ducks tendy was outstanding in keeping it a one goal game, and then the experience and dominating talent of Getzlaf/Perry just takes over. It happens. Time to learn from it and move on to Game 2.
  3. For what it's worth: It was obviously an intentional slash, but it's a play that happens dozens of times during any hockey game. The really unfortunate thing is that (I think) he caught him at the spot above the glove, and hit bone. Can't deny the fracture.
  4. Decided to make the trip out from Calgary for the opening weekend of full camp (June 5th weekend) to check it out. Think it's going to be one of the most hotly contested camps in recent memory...
  5. *finger snaps*
  6. Was about midway through the 2nd period...
  7. Reckon Ladder's been playing hurt for awhile now, so any rest he can get is good rest.
  8. Subban, this morning: "I've been slashed way harder than that..."
  9. Clarke on Kharlamov in '72.....
  10. Kirk Penton ‏@PentonKirk 2m2 minutes ago Interesting name taking part in #Alouettes mini-camp here in Vero Beach: Jonathan Hefney. #Bombers #Stampeders #CFL Looking for another kick at the can...
  11. Jets in 7 Blues in 7 Hawks in 6 fLames in 7 Habs in 7 Bolts in 6 Rangers in 6 Caps in 6 My final is Hawks vs Tampa
  12. Dear Darryl Katz, Please load your dump truck full of money, and while on your way to Mr Chiarelli's house, please back over MacT a few times to make sure he stays down, then unload the money on Chiarelli's front lawn... Signed, Exhausted Oilers Fans...
  13. That's a very fair and realistic write-up on the first round series. It'll likely go 6 or 7, but I still see the Ducks as just being too talented, top to bottom. Be a hell of a lotta fun to watch, though...
  14. Not sure who Peter Tessier is, but he lost me when he said "...You can site..." instead of "...You can cite..."
  15. Romby Bryant did some really great things during his first stint as a Bomber, and I for one thank him for great and loyal service to the WBB FC!
  16. Been asking similar questions and people tell me that Anaheim's D and G are slightly questionable, but their top-end offensive talent isn't matched. If Getzlaf/Perry want to put on God-Mode, then they're virtually unstoppable. If you can find a way to contain them, though...........
  17. the networks want double-headers, and, quite simply, this is how they're going to go about getting 2 games in a night.
  18. BC is going to surprise. Really feel like they'll be very competitive this year.
  19. "Induate"...... Inundate?
  20. ^^^ This is very much *not* my kinda music, but I can dig it. Great job by Burpee and crew...
  21. Oh man did they ever, and then over the past few years, as well, it's been pretty tough. But fear not, the Iginla and Kiprusoff jerseys will be out in full force again...
  22. 6'2" seems a little small for a DT, no? Or am I just spoiled by 6'8" Doug Brown...?
  23. I've got no problems with the Kings and their mostly-Canadian roster. It's the fLames I'd love to see tossed in 4 games. F*** everything about those guys and they're 2004-bandwagon fan base...
  24. No chance he gets cut after mini-camp lol. They basically know what they have in Reaves and they know it will take time. Nothing he could do at mini camp would get him released unless he punches Kyle Walters or something. Also, pretty sure I saw Darren Cameron saying that he'll be in TC in June, for sure...
