  1. I see what you did there. Took me a couple seconds, but I do too...heh. Indeed...
  2. JFG isn't? Was he dinged too?
  3. They've been doing this for weeks now...I think he's maybe taking another rest day.
  4. Yeah, Watson was a "maybe" for this week because of the injury vs Ottawa. This isn't really news. Honestly, maybe it's a good thing for JFG to get some reps...
  5. It's just such small-minded, short-sighted thinking. In the big-picture, we have made a TON of progress from last year, and anyone who doesn't see that is either an idiot, or being deliberately obtuse.
  6. I'm surprised Watson is even "probable"...I'm just so used to every injury being 6-weeks...
  7. ...as per reporters, Ian Wild and Jason Vega likely back this week, with Watson and Moore "probable", and Washington and Kuale "doubtful", all according to MOS...
  8. This is by far the best news of my day so far. Not enough LOL on the internets for this...
  9. hey, we're ****** anyhow, so what do I care? Making sure there isn't more Riders fan infestation around here is all that matters...
  10. This really couldn't have worked out any better for me...beat the Riders fan because of a Riders pants-pooping. My week is made...
  11. I didn't see a lot of Jets pre-season (nothing televised in AB) but I did get to the game in Calgary, and I'll tell you that Hutchinson was the Jets first star, without question. Woulda been 10-2, if not for that guy....
  12. Farley was brilliant...that he had the respect of everyone he worked with speaks volumes. He wasn't just funny, but a fantastic actor. Those two things are rarely seen together, but Farley had it in spades. Shame about the demons...
  13. with a writer as good as Randy Turner, you don't ask for LESS words.......
  14. CFL football is my sport, period. The only thing that comes close to my passion for the CFL is curling during The Season Of Champions, and that's a ways off. Hockey starting is great, sure, but nothing gets me amped like that one game a week when the Bombers are playing and, for a brief moment, I get that feeling like the next week might be okay cause the Bombers won. There is NOTHING like the Bombers and CFL ball...
  15. Absolutely zero chance of Ott beating BC next week so it's basically toast. We'll need a miracle...
  16. Don't pay any attention to last nights 4th Q. The first 3 quarters is the real Stamps. They just took their foot off.
  17. I think the 4th quarter wasn't indicative of the Riders so much as the Stamps just taking their heads outta the game. Once momentum shifts it's real hard to turn the tide.
  18. Well I can promise you we lose next week In Edmonton because I'll be in attendance...
  19. He was actually watching Ray's game film, and happened to see Roberts ON that tape, and immediately got a hold of him. Not sure why he didn't continue his pursuit of Ray, but I assume the tape wasn't very good...
  20. Does he have a connection with MOS from last year?
  21. Someone said recently that we look like the 2000 Bombers again, but in my mind we're still the 1999 Bombers. A loooooong way from 1998, but still a ways to go before 2001......
  22. And you are wrong to do that. Game 1 was lost purely because of turnovers. Our offense generated more points for the riders via turnovers than the Riders offence did. Labour day I will concede the defense most of the blame, they let that last drive happen too easily. Banjo Bowl was again turnovers. The D got the offense the ball back twice in the dying moments of the game, the first one they threw a pick and that was basically it. Can't be turning the ball over like that and expect to win. And I really believe that injuries have a lot to do with the turnovers, too...
  23. Yeah, I was going to respond to him with "Short answer: You're wrong. Long answer: Something something, Coach, QB, Build From There, Something something..."
  24. Me and my arch-enemy 'The Turnover' heartily disagree with you. This is biggest reason for the free fall the past seven weeks. One we have gave up a lot of turnover and conversely have not forced that many. Have to start winning the turnover battle this team at the moment is not good enough to lose it. Disagree. Injuries are the biggest reason for the free fall the past seven weeks.
  25. Just f***ing win. By any means necessary, just f***ing win.
