I would say definitely not.... if it was any other injury than throwing shoulder I don't see it being an issue.... last thing we want is a Lulay situation where his career might be in jeopardy... Willy is the QB of the present, but more importantly the future too... Willy hasn't been close to 100% for weeks. Banged his throwing hand on a helmet at least twice during games and once in a practice, and then the ankle/leg thing vs Riders, and then now the shoulder. Point is, it has nothing to do with being 100%...it's "Can Willy go out there and help the team win, or is he going to be a detriment?"

Been posted here many times, but people seem to forget or something, so I'll post again: Bombers wanted Willy all along. Mac D had been pursuing him for a long time. Bombers wanted him plus whoever, initially. Taman had told Willy that he was no longer in their plans because they liked Sunseri more and needed to give him the #2 spot behind Durant. Willy was coming to Winnipeg one way or another, and it was just a matter of whether it was as a clear cut starter or in competition with someone. All he ever asked for was a legit chance at the #1 job. Collaros and Burris falling through just made it that much easier for him.

Injuries make this team look a lot worse than it actually is. With our Game 1 roster, I believe we go toe to toe with anyone, but as depleted as we are, we are an awful team. Thought the D actually looked pretty good until they got absolutely gassed at the end of the game.
